Dicks back in, Blight returns, and Fraser at CHF.

Thought Barham had flown to Perth with the team. Must be on a plane home tomorrow if unrequired.

Is there a limit as to how many senior listed players get a run against teams like Frankston? Do rookies count? What about Young?

what the hell is going on with this Fixture? Again it's changed. I have it listed as Sunday 2pm, just found out it's Saturday 1pm? And I'm not the only one, the people I go with also had it listed for Sunday

even in the fixture thread it's listed as Sunday

Luke said in the CFC chat that Goldsack & Blair were rested due to general soreness.

Thought the AFL-listed Pies were grand - Brown, Fraser, Locks, Presti (who thankfully was rested second half in case needed vs Geelong). Dick clearly needs a few more match fitness games.

Barham, despite flying to West and back for 8+ hours just before the game, was super possie gatherer. Obviously is close to a senior gig.

Carter was surprisingly good (given that some SA folk on their boards were unflattering about our rookie choice here), and imagine actually learning your craft right next to AA-nominated last year and AFL 200-gamer Presti.

Hunter needs to be promoted. Don't know his stats, but he is one angry ombre. Beautiful kicks and physical presence.

Thomas did lots of good and bad, so it might be early days there. Only really noticed Sinclair second half (perhaps as Locks backed off to bench?). Back from injury, so not a lot from him, but this entree was grand.

Pendles, Sundles, Young and Hayes all showed something as to why they should be on our rookie list next year.

Best till last: Keeffe. What a tall CHB he makes, with occasional fray into to ruck. Surprising deftness of disposal and hardness at the contest. The rest of the year may illuminate if he is a taller Jakovich or a taller bust. But great game.

Thanks twaters - really interesting stuff about Keefe.
In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

i have never rated Keefe but he did show something today, I also thought Carter and Scott Reed also showed something. And Barham has pace to burn which is probably the only way to bat the Cats next week
we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest.
