For me, Cloke was by far and away the most effective player on the ground.
Besides kicking 4, he was responsible for so many spillages. He handballed to Swan to set him up with 1, crashed a pack and Dick roved to kick another. He tackled.
He absolutely cleaned up a number of players in marking contests.
That is as good a game as you can hope for. He would've still been BOG even if he didnt kick a goal.
That's the way Anthony Rocca plays at his best...only Trav is far quick and better defensively.
There's more to life than footy.........just not much more.
