NBB Sponsorship 2009 - NEW CATEGORY POLL...

Post by MargOZ »

Hi guys,

OKAY! So it seems we missed out on Steele Sidebottom so we need to make a decision on another player.

BUT! Before we do that, I want to let you all know that we have enough money pledged so far to go up a category if we wanted.

SO! This Poll is to decide wether we stay with a PLAYER OF THE FUTURE or move up to TEAM PLAYER.

FOR INFO, these are the remaining players who are still available in each category:

TEAM PLAYER:
Simon Prestigiacomo
Ben Johnson
Tyson Goldsack
Sean Rusling
Chris Bryan
Sharrod Wellingham
John Anthony
Ben Reid
Alan Toovey
Danny Stanley
Shannon Cox
Leigh Brown

PLAYER OF THE FUTURE:
Ryan Cook
Brad Dick
Brent Macaffer
Cameron Wood (already has 4 sponsors)
Kevin Dyas
Jaxson Barham
Tobias Thoolan
Anthony Corrie
Luke Rounds
Jarrad Blight
Lachlan Keefe
Scott Reed

I will do another POLL with PLAYER CHOICE following this one.

THANKS EVERYONE!!!

Marg

I'd like to stick with a player of the future, but don't have a clear preference from that list.

Extra cash can be used for extra raffle prizes like you said. Maybe Lasalle can go to a sponsors dinner and wear his Jandels and Tiki.

If we have enough for a Team Player: Chris Bryan

If the consensus is to go for a Player of the Future: Brad Dick.

I went for Team Player, but not fussed at all.

Just a note, as a SA Magpie, we are sponsoring Cameron Wood this year.

If we have enough funds we should aim as high as we can.

My suggestion........ We will win the flag in 2009, so lets aim for a premiership player.

Happy to donate some more.

2009 SPONSORSHIP UPDATE:

Okay, it's almost borderline at the moment but I think we'll stick with the majority and continue to sponsor a Player of The Future for season 2009.

I know some NBBers are keen to go for a higher profile player so we can definitely put that on the agenda for next year.

So these are the next steps:

1) I will run a poll over the weekend to choose our top 3 players to sponsor - and then send that to the Club on Monday - and hopefully have our first choice player confirmed ASAP.

2) As soon as our player is confirmed I will make full payment to the Club.

3) I will then check the amount we have left over once everyone has contributed - and then, depending on how much extra we have, I will put part of that towards purchasing extra raffle prizes for the end of this season - and if enough, will also leave some to carry over to next year so that we have a head start if we do want to sponsor a higher category player.
