Work Xmas Party - are you having one and what to wear?
Hi Girls (and boys as I know you're reading it).
Our work Christmas Party is this weekend. It's my first with this company so I'm not too sure what to except. The dress code is smart casual, but I quite like getting dressed up. My question is: can you be too dressed up for a Xmas Party. (Just to clear the air - I'm not planning on wearing a floor length ball gown).
Thanks
Jen

No way! There's only such thing as under dressed in my books. Definitely wear a dress.
We have a departmental Chrissy party and the theme is 'glamour' which actually snowballed from my original suggestion of 1950's/rockabilly - don't know how it got to 'glamour' but anyhoo. I'm wearing a 50's style Pilgrim wiggle dress which I wore to the Copeland (http://www.pilgrimclothing.com.au/index ... mid=26with - except mine is slate grey and black and looks waaaay hotter on than in a picture) and pin up style hair a la Dita von Teese (who else?) and I haven't decided on shoes yet but something fabulous will do. Also, I think lingerie plays a big part in how you feel and therefore the way you hold yourself so some stockings and corsetry is in order too me-thinks..

Mine's at a crap as chinese restaurant this Friday.. It starts at 7pm, so me and Tracey are hoping by about 10pm, we will be able to sneak out haha!
All the girls are then going to a crap as pub in Ringwood.. We're hopping on a train to Chapel St, to eat real food at TGI's and to party at Bridie's!! Then, going to Marquee to party some more!
I see the girls from work, everyday. I see the hot singer of the band at Bridie's, the cute bartender from TGI's, and the cute bartender from Marquee, only once a week!! Hahaha
Love always, Alyssa xoxo

Do drunk strippers at office parties put more clothes on before going for a run? Who knows.

I am friends with the DJ at a nightclub near my house, and this girl he was friends with from a strip club he once DJ'd at, spent about an hour trying to convince me to come and strip at her club hahaha!David wrote:aaah. Strippers. Chicks Channel has reached a true low point.
She gave me her card and told me to call anytime I needed money or if I was just the tiniest bit interested..
I can't dance for the life of me haha.. Must be something to do with the rack Hahaha!
Love always, Alyssa xoxo
