Is this a trick question....

I don't recall the U/19's playing on the same day back then.

Well they did that day and did so right up to 1990.

Kick off was 9.30am.

But, but.... didn't we have a "winning culture" back then? ;)
That is precisely the point. Even when they weren't trying they were winning. Funnily though it was also a very bleak time economically around the world and the VFL and most the other 11 clubs were in big trouble with falling memberships. People could not stand the fact that Collingwood was winning so much and so often and were driven away from the game.

A successful and popular league is based around a losing Collingwood.

Under 19s used to play at 2.10 pm, same time as the seniors.
Shit! I thought they played all on the same day, my bad

Anyway they kicked 0.8.8

Someone else can ask a question due to my mistake.

Cheers 8)

Round 13 1987 was one of the darkest days of the Collingwood F.C.

Against North Melbourne at a waterlogged VFL Park infront of just 17,000 people the Senior side kicked just 2 6 18 and lost by 54 points (BT kicked both goals) The Reserves didn't do much better and kicked 2 3 15.

Q: What did the U/19's kick that day?
I remember that day, YIK, I was at VFL Park, freezing icy day, and the whole day was SHITE.
Did the U/19s kick 3pts?

it was a classic vfl park day thats for sure. actually stopped raining in the second half, but temp stayed way down around 7 or 8.

Stay with BT. What state was BT from, and which state did he play "state of origin" football for?

holy crap, greg got a trivia question wrong!

BBHS is right, under one of those dodgy SOO rules he played for Victoria and kicked 6 goals against WA.

Perhaps a new rule is in order.

If you don't come up with a question within 2 days of getting an answer correct the question is then open to floor.

MACDAICOS, that makes it your question...fire away.

Tony Shaw made his debut for Collingwood in 1978.

What number did he wear in 1978 before wearing number 22 in 1979?
