Great to see that we had a win this weekend...

I was saying to a mate that Dawes really needs to play well today as he is going to need confidence going in against Hawthorn next week.

I'd like to see him have a crack just before the end of the season to take that pressure off Cloke and perhaps another good defender off Anthony.

Personally I don't think he is quite ready for a consistant call up, but I would toss him in to see what happens.

Agreed does not have to play every single game but 1 or 2 would be good just so he can get a taste of AFL footy

9 goal final quarter, very nice to see. A few boys putting thier hands up surely. Interesting week for selections.

Both teams cruelled by inconsistency.

I doubt MM will throw him into the seniors after one good appearance in a game that we won by 90 points. Although would like to see him there as i think the two talls in Anthony and Cloke arnt enough, we need one more bigger bodied option (like we had last year in finals; Rocca, Cloke, Rusling).

Interesting to see if MM gives McCarthy a crack.

it's not one performance. He's had three or four now. Throw Dawesy into the fray, I say. You never know ... he just might like the better delivery!
Great to see mccarthy bag a few and get in the best, that actually excites me more than anything. He's tough too.

Well that is crap Logic. Dawes has been good for the last month.

McCarthy 1st good game for awhile.

Stanley should also come up too for Ben Johnson

Yeah, after 20 games at VFL level he should be a super star by now

I must admit while he very well may not be ready for the AFL yet but I would like to see Dawes come into the side as the Pies are desperately missing the third tall option, and if he plays the hard brand of football people describe it may just be the tonic the forward line needs.
Changes:

Out - Johnno & Leon (susp)
In - Dawes and Stanley.

did josh play, mick has a habbit of throwing a youngster into the deep end in big games Dawes may be given a game.
