Man that was an AMAZING win last night, I haven't seen COLL playing like this for close to 2 years!
I will have to admit, I wasn't confident about the game, but I got to the ground last night about 7:15, my GEEL mate was nowhere to be seen, nor could I get in touch with him (wasn't answering his phone.) So I sat down, looked out onto the field & suddenly this warm gush of air just surrounded me like an aura & I turned around to some guy sitting next to me (COLL supporter) "We're gonna win tonight & win well, I can just feel it...." He just smiled....
The rest as they say is history....
If only every week was like last night!
Sheer bliss & a GREAT Birthday present for me to top off the evening.

I would just like to say thank you to the Collingwood Football Club for providing me with one of the most amazing experiences of my life.
It was without doubt an exceptional performance and without a passenger, every single player contributed.
The tackling and ferocity at the ball was something to behold and just goes to show what we are capable of when everyone contributes.
I am sitting here stunned at the result, but very very happy and salivating at the prospect of making a few phone calls to people who called me yesterday to tell me about the drubbing that Collingwood would get at the hands of the mighty Geelong.
Revenge is so sweet.
Go the pies.

Frees 22-20. No one can complain about that.
Players 10/10
Coaches 10/10
Gold Jacket 10/10 (Brave effort coming out so early in the last quarter)
...and of course, the crowd. The faithful stood tall tonight and crushed any spirit or hope that the Cats might of had. Crowd 11/10.
Go Pies!!!
When did the gold jacket come out? They didn't show it on the telly. When Daisy kicked "that goal" would have been fitting.
Never disperse your focus unless absolutely necessary. Face one adversary at a time!

What has happened to all those posters that claimed we dont have a Plan B moving Rocca up the ground, dragging Scarlett with him, opening up the forward line long bombs to Cloke. We kicked their arses!
How much potential is Wellingham showing.
The only negative was that tool McAveney commenting on 7.

What a fantastic night all round:
Firstly the tackling and pressure is the best i can remember. I think thats what has been missing recently. The pussies crumbled and couldnt handle the heat.
Great players all round including didak, trav, swan, clarke, wellinham and so many others.
Rocca was excellent tonight against scarlett. Bunny my ass, you showed him pebbles.
This is only a little vengeance for that devastating prelim last year but boy doesn't it fell <snip> FANTASTIC.

Im very very proud of this comment i made pre-match.
Thats the way to play Scarlett....me and Snoop Dog and a few others called if all week.
Maybe the coaches read the boards afterall!!!!!
HAHAH im on cloud 9. Will be wearing the top for a week.

Thats how he has played him the last 3 games and it hasnt worked.
I think the best option is to actually play him at CHF. Scarlett is know to enjoy playing at Full Back in the goal square body on body with a giant. He then runs off and gets Harley to cover whilst he goes for a jog.
Port Adelaide have often exploited Scarlett by dragging him to CHB. He doesnt like it here.
Rocca looked most dangerous against Hudgton when he came outside 50. He created so many goals through handballs, taps, knock ons and contests. You have to see the highlights to understand how effective he was.
I would be bringing Rocca up the ground and playing Scarlett outside his comfort zone. Tell Rocca to take ruck contests, lay a few bumps and contest everything.
The further advantage is that Rocca has the capability to kick a goal from 55+. That makes him very dangerous outside 50 for 2 reasons.
1. He wont have to contend with the flood.
2. He has more leading space as he can start his leads from 35m and lead out to 60m with more space.
The other big advantage is that if Scarlett runs off, and we win a turnover, Rocca is immediately in the play. Whereas if he stays in the goalsquare, the ball has to travel the field to reach him alone, where Geelong will usually get numbers back in time.
If Scarlett wants to leave Rocca alone 60 metres out, then thats his risk. I have the suspicion that Scarlett will feel very lost.
In the past, when a player has dragged him outside 50, he has stayed at home on whoever the team sends to full forward.
It would be a huge bonus if he had to go to Medhurst or Trav Cloke...because history also shows he is most vulnerable to a quick lead up type forward.

4mins in I think
The whole night was a blur. The first quarter, 9 mins were played I swore that it was just 2 or 3. The game was so fast and furious. I think I am still spinning!!!
Heres the shot...
