Why bring Burnsey back for this game.

Shocking performance, Hawthorn miles ahead of us on the premiership clock.

I wish MM would start blooding those guys stuck in the VFL.

Play Reid for several weeks, not one week in and then out again.

Dawes, Cox, Wellingham should given a go as well.

Hawthorn have been building this team since the start of this decade.

15 games left- we are clearly not in the ball park with the top 2 sides- every guy on the list should get a run before the end of the year, with the exception of those who will not be around in 2009.

Time to plan for life after Wakes/Pebs/Burnsy/Holland.

Im afraid we just aint good enough

Would like to see Dawes, Wellingham, Egan, Reid and others given time to develop.

And a pretty cluey move bringing Rocca in only to be a late withdrawal......WTF??? Cook gets dropped loses confidence then finds out he is back in the side.......by default. Or was that always the plans??

The mind boggles.

We're just not good enough. They are a better team - period.

I really don't know where the Pies are heading in 08, and it frustrates me that other teams appear to have caught us up or even overtaken us as Top 4 prospects. We are that far off the pace at the moment...

Did we just have a really crap pre-season?? Is that why? The more I think about it, the more I believe that there are really only 2 or 3 genuinely talented sides, and 1 or 2 poor sides. The other dozen can be bunched together in terms of list/talent, and what sets them apart is their fitness.

The last 2 years we have been a relatively fit and healthy side. This year not so much...

No tall option in the forward like once Cloke was held....and to think they had Hodge off for half the game. Very disappointing.

Pretty sad.....
It took us wait for it 106 minutes to score 10 goals yet the Hawks managed 10 goals in 1 qtr of footy (31 minutes)

THIS LOSS IS NOT ACCEPTBLE......

To lose like that is PATHETIC

we are a momentum team, and just some poor umpiring decisions snuffed out our momentum swings.

it could of been a very different game, may not of won, but would of been alot closer

we have a handful of out of form players, and the way we play, that hurts us alot!

this week off will do us good

Need more players to give the opposition headaches, I'd bring in Egan but only play him up forward.

Great game to watch - especially for all the Hawks supporters.

Hawks -
1. Tough, agressive and hard at the ball,
2. Skills are better than average,
3. Run comes from forwards, midfielders and backmen - all over the ground,
4. Play the corridor as a first option,
5. Move the ball fast.

Pies lack ALL those 5 amd anyone that thinks they are a finals team is really kidding themselves.

I am even more concerned that Mitchell got leather poisoning and we could not even make a smart coaching decision and tag him (40 posessions).

We are a position 5-10 team this year and if we don't change very soon we will be worse in the future.

The club is not drilled and trained correctly and days like today really show it up.

MM must get smarter or move on as we have been week, slow and poorly skilled for several years.

I hope the rumour is correct and Barney is coming back.
