24 point loss 1 goal a qtr, seems like everyone here made out we loss by 10 goals or more. I did not see the game so can not really comment. You look at our play possesions we had a lot of players down and when your 2 key forwards do not get a lot of it we are in trouble. I guess the good thing about a loss is we can see how we respond next week, most of last year are record was W,L,W,L,W. 2 wins 2 losses from 4 could have been easily 3 from 4(brisbane) better than 0 from 4 or 1 from 4

The worst thing about being a collingwood supporter is actually being 1?what a joke that game was how can we believe we're a premiership threat losing like that to a crap team.Worse of all we played at there level,and they beat us in all departments.Tarkyn lockyer should play netball for the melbourne vixens,if he was captain who would wanna follow him.Nick maxwell disgrace to buckleys jumper just made things worse for us.The only winners in a collingwood jumper were Heath and Rhyse Shaw and Dane Swan the others were passengers on the titanic.Burns is the only hard at the ball player we have,should get gelati ice cream to sponsor the other onballers

We could see these bastards kicking BIG scores week after week, but still lose. Yet our lazy bludgers became the ONLY team in fucuk knows how many weeks to FAIL to kick 100 points against their defense?
And that chance to etch this garbage into the losing-streak history books gone FOREVER, as somebody else pointed out.

I had to restrain myself from smashing something, watching this farce on TV. I had to turn off MMM radio, couldn't stand moron Dunstall's pathetic band-wagon jumping. The sound of his voice just shits me.
Christ, I miss Clement. And that ARSE goal by Stevens just made me spit blood. Don't start me on those sluts of umpires either.

And the sooner we get Cousins into a magpie jumper, the sooner we can evaluate a realistic attempt at a premiership. And not before.

just come up...

i was filthy and embarrassed as i didn't think that was going to happen this season - it felt like a brisbane style loss (last years thumping). we really played that poorly in every aspect of our game, even Mick didn't know what to do.

For those people calling for player x and y's heads: sorry but we don't have 17 guys to come in for them next week. (also the o'bree baggers that have all popped back out of the woodwork should crawl back into their holes)

I am optimistically writing Sunday's episode off as nightmare and am hoping it was "the loss we had to have".

It wasn't just another loss to them that makes this so unacceptable, it was the way we went about it and it was THE one we had to get back.

We will beat them if they are tanking like last year. They do not fear our retribution because we have been unable to deliver it for as long as I can remember. They continue to have bragging rights over us, and it looks like this will continue for many more years.

And smashing the Roos this week will not make me feel better about sunday's loss - only a flag will.
