Excellent form. And he went back later in the game and played well, I thought.

No chance of getting leather poisoning Jack...?! Must have felt a bit like a spectator today. But, to get two on debut and to cover as much ground as you did was a real credit to you and it is hard to get a kick with Pebs and Trav around and Dids, Medders, Daisy, Swanny and Mag taking all the crumbs. People will soon learn that throwing yourself around is but one of your trademarks, not to mention a deadly accurate kick over 50m. You just need to get a few more kicks.
Jack looks every bit an AFL player. Fancy playing a kid at Full Forward after hiding him away at Full Back since he joined the club. Really gave a Jack the best chance to impress everyone. The fact he did impress is testament to his versatility and dedication to the task.
Good read, but it has been twelve months, not just six as stated in the article heading.

I didnt view the performance as favourably as others although I'm not suggesting he disgraced himself.
Positives
- throws himself at the contest
- nice kick
Negatives
- doesn't have a big tank (yet)
- defensive pressure is not up to standard
- looks slower than I remember him
I thought Mick was very fair in his assessment when asked by a Journo what he thought of JA's performance. He should improve considerably in coming months.
Hoping he becomes a very serviceable player.
