ruzza was out there, think he may have been injured as he went off and did not return.
Pendles hurt himself too, not too bad though i think, looked like an ankle, he was taken of as a precaution i would say.
We has some flashes of brilliance today, especially a goal out of mid air from daisy, however we lacked polish and turned the ball over on a regular basis. They seemed to lose interest after halfway through the last quarter too.

When we looked good, we looked GOOD. But we couldn't sustain it. The highlights for me were Wood, and Thomas' brilliant goal. Wood looked good in the ruck, kicked 1 and should've had a second - but handballed it off in the square. I'm not at all worried lethalburns. In fairness to us, we were playing players out of position, and we were missing Burns, Johnson, Goldsack, Maxwell, Lockyer and a few others.
Didn't like Rhyce in the midfield. Also, Anthony looks like he could be the new 'swing' man. Looks very solid in defence, and is a good option up forward. Very composed under pressure, and has good awareness. Dawes looked out of place down back I thought. Swan is looking very impressive, clearly our best midfielder. Didak is looking good in the middle, just needs some more experience in there but he will definately have a role there.
Thomas made another error after marking near the goals, but this time I thought it was definately the right option. He handballed it off to Egan who was streaming in towards goals on his own, (Davis was also by himself), but Daisy put too much on the handball and it bounced through for a point. He looked good when he was in the play though, always looks dangerous.
Pendles was very quiet, perhaps because of his injury - that I didn't know about. Heath Shaw was very good, showed some nice leadership too. Fraser was very good around the ground, marked some very difficult contested marks. What else... hmmmm... Medhurst got a run in the midfield a bit. Didn't do too much, I think he should stay in the front half... we missed his pressure to lock the ball in the forward line when he wasn't there (as well as Leon).
Travis presented well all day, took some nice marks and kicked 1 or 2, but also shanked a couple. Egan made some poor decisions, very talented but needs to work on going for the right option.
Cook actually did look good at times today, was impressed with his pace and running in general. Iles didn't do much at all. Toovey looked solid as a stopper, but I don't ever want the ball in his hands.
Basically the weaknesses today were at the centre clearances, which is okay because we were trying everyone in there, and at times had trios like: Cook, Rhyce and Iles or something like that. Will look much better when Burns/Obree, Pendlebury and Swan are in there most of the time. Also the backline wasn't too good, but that will get better when we inject Goldsack, Maxwell and even Lockyer into it.
Best: Wood, Swan, Clarke, O'Brien, Davis.
