After a long, arduous summer, the dawn of the season we've all been waiting for, the one the Collingwood Football Club claims its 15th VFL/AFL premiership.

The quest begins in Dubai, of all places, as we take on Adelaide. Arguably the most boring, negative, uninspiring team going around.

Starts at 8.30pm on Channel 7, or much earlier in Pies Chat.

Cant wait - it seem's like this seasons taken forever to arrive, yet it seems like just yesterday we were battling Geelong in the Prelim...

For mine, i'd like to see us have a win and remain on the mainstream grounds instead of heading to the middle of nowhere for our practice matches (like we're not in the middle of nowhere now anyway!)

I'd presume every kid and rookie will play... we wont see Pebs, Presti, Burnsy & Co....

Cant wait for it to begin...!

It might be here,BUT why do wer in NSW have to wait til 12:35am to see a replay of the game.....same scenario different year same TV station.....Ch7 couldnt give a damn.

Peter it gets worse. channel 7 has the grand final this year. Can we expect them to hurry through the premiership presentation to fit in the 6 O'clock news like they did in 1999 and 2000?

Can we expect them to completely ignore the premiership on Sunday and crap on about Rugby League, like they did in 1990?

If we win the flag, prepare for second rate coverage from good old channel 7.

LOL thats gold favourites.

It has been a long summer and be it a glorified practice match, the pies are back and footy is back on everyones lips, lets hope we can start it with a stirring victory to keep us salivating at the thought of the premiership we will claim later this year.

Damn!! .Im getting married Sat night and will miss the game live.( is that a valid reason).
Anyway, not expecting to much from the boys.But hoping some the young kids have a crack.Not to bother if we win or lose,just no INJURIES.

How good is our depth? It's brilliant when the team still looks that good, without the likes of Presti, Wakelin, Rocca, Burns, Obree, Goldsack, Obrien, Johnson, Lonie etc.
