No, we haven't 'blocked' your threads...if you won't do the courtesy of posting in the relevant thread in the relevant forum, expect them to be 'blocked'.
Please note that 'blocking' may involve your posts being merged with the thread you should have posted them in to begin with, or deleting them if they are completely pointless.
As for 'blocking' on Copeland night, I have absolutley no idea what you are talking about, but if tonite is any guide, I'd guess you may have:
(a) started a new thread where one already existed
(b) indulged in personal abuse towards another poster
or
(c) started a thread in the incorrect forum (e.g. this one)
Maybe it was a combination of all three.
At any rate, if you email the mods or post in this forum, you should get a reply though bear in mind the mods do not monitor this board 24/7, so it may take a little longer than 3 nanoseconds for us to reply.

OK, OK, OK.
The whole thing was a big plot. All the Nick's mods got together in their secret attic and decided they would get back at xtcc. The fiendish plan involved not only blocking you from giving sms updates, but also using the Nick's time machine to find out the winner and beat you to announcing it.
When it happened, they all had a good old laugh and decided to move on to more evil plans.
So yes, that was London Dave watching you in the shower last night.

Sorry I took so long to get back to you, anyone would have thought I'd promised an immediate reply!xtcc wrote:Still Waiting ? Nicks Mods.

Great, we'll see you there then. Hopefully you'll be able to explain in court what you don't seem to be able to manage on here.... i.e. What is 'blocking'?xtcc wrote:That would stand up in Court.
Now, from what I can gather, you seem to be slightly upset that some posts you made on the progress of the Copeland Trophy voting(?) were 'blocked'. By blocked, I'm taking you mean deleted, or merged into another thread, but feel free to correct me if I'm not 100% correct on that assumption. It may perhaps be the thread was locked nd you were unable to post in it any more.
I understand some of your friends at the count used the Short Message Service provided by your mobile telephony carrier to provide you with updates as to the progress of the count, which you then posted here, a thread created for Copeland Trophy updates. ( http://www.magpies.net/nick/bb/viewtopic.php?t=39914 ?)
At some point you were 'blocked' (again, explain?), and you said you can supply the names...please explain, not sure what these names refer to.
Then in the immediate aftermath of C3's win, someone else (name?) had 3 page post about it, which in some way is related to your 'blocking' problems, as otherwise you wouldn't mention it. Did you start a congrats Travis thread after someone else had?...perhaps it was merged/deleted, as often happens when multiple post game threads are started, for example.
I would guess, and I stress this is only a guess, that you are referring to this thread.. http://www.magpies.net/nick/bb/viewtopic.php?t=39922 which was started for congrats messages to the winner.
Looking at the postings on the night, I saw a few threads started on updates which were locked, as is practice around here, we lock pre-game threads s game starts, in game threads as game finishes etc. Perhaps you were trying to post in a locked thread.....
I'll endeavour to look though the admin logs at some point this week, but again, I stress, if you expect 24/7 service, you'll be disappointed. I've got 3 xmas parties to attend this week, so it'd be more likely the weekend when I get some time to devote to it, that's if my wife hasn't organised a weekend away.
