No.
Seriously, I think Maxy has proven how versatile he is this year... and remember, there's probably only a small chance that he'll actually line up there. But, if he does, I'm confident he can do his job.

I'm more interested in the INs than the OUTs. In particular -
B: Ted Richards, Leo Barry, Lewis Roberts-Thomson
HB: Paul Bevan, Craig Bolton, Ben Mathews
C: Nick Malceski, Brett Kirk, Jarrad McVeigh
HF: Ryan O’Keefe, Michael O’Loughlin, Nic Fosdike
F: Adam Schneider, Barry Hall, Nick Davis
Foll: Darren Jolly, Jude Bolton, Adam Goodes
I/C: Ed Barlow, Jared Crouch, Sean Dempster, Peter Everitt
Anyone who thinks this is going to be a soda because of the way we thrashed their makeshift, second-rate forward line last time is no student of the game.
Ablett is a big out, and Hall isn't the threat this year that he has been in seasons past, but we are looking at a Sydney defence only one player away from their premership best.
This will be a really serious test. I'm still tipping the Swans to win.
(Hope I'm wrong!)

Rhyce had to perform last week but didn't.Harrysz wrote:Rhyce Shaw should be in the side. He has the run and grunt to go with Goodes. He can run the lines, and I reckon Heath does better when Rhyce is playing.
It seems Rhyce has been dropped for Didak. Is this based on form? I doubt it. Is it based on hope? Probably.
I hope Dids has a blinder but he's been out of sorts all year.
I would've gone with Rhyce.
No Rhyce...no worries.
The window is open my friend!

Definitely the best side we've had all year. While i'm no great fan of Richards, I reckon he's played his best football in recent weeks, and seems to have relished being 1st ruck. I hope MM uses him that way, allowing Josh to spend a lot of time down forward or even floating across half back.
The surprizing emergence of Rusling (I thought he was gone for the year) has provided another dimension to our forward line, and given our midfield a quick moving target to aim for.
Like others, I am disappointed for Licca, as he has truly been a great warrior for our club, but the speed of the modern game, with continuous rotations has meant that the need for a one-paced endurance specialist has almost disappeared. If Burns went down injured, he'd probably get a recall, but otherwise I suspect he's played his last game for the Pies.
I seriously think we will give the Swans an absolute flogging and gather enormous confidence for our assault on the Eagles in 10 days time.

is it possible that the amazing Chris Dawes, the greatest recruit since Achilles Jones, WON'T get an automatic start in the forward line next year ahead of Cloke, Rocca, Fraser and Rusling and will have to earn his place with some big performances?
Someone said the boy can ruck a bit. Will this be his destiny?
Seriously folks, isn't depth a wonderful thing?

Kennelly and Ablett are massive losses for the Swans. A major part of their run off half back.
I really rate Ablett. speed, and long kick. holds an opponent too. Was on Bux last time and did a fair job imo.
Spoke to my boss who is a big swans man. Said he prefered Hall not to play cos their too 1 dimensional when he plays.
Hope Josh is fully fit and fresh and their not rushing him back! Cos Bryan has been Ok.
But in the middle is where it will be won. Win there, like most matches, and the game is mostly in our control and we dictate the moves.
Go Pies!!!!!! I'm starting to get pumped up. grrrrrr! coooommme-ooonnnnnn!
