I reckon it will be Saturday afternoon:
My tips for finals and reasoning:
Friday Night at AAMI: Port v West Coast, (they both played Saturday night this week so no disadvantage to either team)
Saturday afternoon at the MCG: Collingwood v Sydney (Collingwood don't need the extra rest, they played Friday night and Sydney haven't earnt the rest more than Hawthorn because Hawthorn finished higher)
Saturday night at the Telstra Dome: Hawthorn v Adelaide (see above)
Sunday afternoon at the MCG: Geelong v Kangaroos

If the broadcasters have a say then we will be playing Sat Night
Should be a good game, one we can win comfortably if we stop Goodes, we can win even if he picks up 30 useless posessions again but be good to win more comfortably
Who can take him? Lonie is finished for the season, Licca? I'd like to see Clement run with him

I am optimistic that we can win, but the Swans were awesome today.Adz wrote:I'm worried a bit because we know they can turn it on during finals and given we've won the past 3 it makes me a bit nervous.
Unlike some supporters, I won't be feeling arrogant about this game that's for sure.

Doesn't matter who we play. All teams are now equal again come next week. All of the teams in the 8 can win on any given day, so it wouldn't matter who we played where, we need to beat who is put in front of us, anywhere they put us. No point saying i'd rather play here, i'd rather play them. They are all going to be tough assignments.
All we have to do is hope the team which runs out next weekend ALL have their best games. Go Pies!

I agree with 'Madness' totally different ballgame from next week.
I am still thinking that Cats will crack.
I would like to see Swans V PIES for the GF but that wont happen.

I remember the same sort of arrogance just before the Bulldogs game last year. We are not good enough to be that arrogant and I am not sure why some Collingwood supporters persists with the illusion of us being close to unbeatable.
Beware of Sydney as they play a great finals style game and proved this last year when they beat the Toast in Subi. They are rarely out of a game.
