too right culprit. me and my geelong supporting mate were going to sleep every time sydney got the ball.

what about when bux came onto the ground. i got totally swept away in the moment. haven't been that excited since prelim '02.

I have to say it's been a while since I have had goose bumps when a player has ran onto the ground and I did when Bucks did. It was awesome. His first kick to Thommo which became a goal was great. If Bucks had of kicked a goal they would have heard it on the space station. We may just have to wait for another week.

Just watched the replay and I felt the same as you guys. You have to see him after a year to apreciate how good a player he is and what skills Bucks still has at the tender age of 35........ Too often in the past it was easy to take the bloke for granted but those 50 metre pin point passes very few dish them up so consistently.... His first bit of action with that pass to Daisy well how good was that.... Imagine if he had Pendles Daisy Marty Heath and Swanny in 2002 when he was at his best. Loved how he got peaved with our lot when they were occupying the open space he was trying to open up for the fowards ... gret expression on his face..... I just can't help dreaming that this may be a great year.......

i've just finished watching the game and like many felt a sensation up the back of my neck watching bucks and the team come onto the park.

you could see the fire in the belly, the conviction in the eyes of the players was back. the skill level improved markedly and you wonder if it was because they didn't want to let bucks down.

must say i liked watching medhurst when he drifted down back, took another defender out of play. have enjoyed his last few weeks. clement is looking better for the runs. still disappointed with dids - looked like a headless chook at times - but his mark in the goal square was terrific.

liked what i saw of bryan and reckon he gives us more around the ground. richards' kicking is pretty ordinary but had a better game. it seems to me that bryan just needs to believe that he belongs. it's got to be hard coming from another club. maybe the same for medhurst though it's starting look like he belongs in our forward line?

harryo and the rocca and clarke incidents have been done to death so no comment there.

just a note on the commentators ... i didn't think they were that bad (voss excluded, he is dreadful and i wish carlton had taken him on as coach). sometimes it seems we get a little too sensitive towards what they say.
the only thing that really annoyed me was the comments about the free kicks and not putting them into context - that they were earned rather than a consequence of what is usually crap umpiring.

if you want to listen to biased rubbish come visit me here in nz and put up with the SkyTV commentary teams for rugby and cricket. they make a lot of the footy commentators look balanced and articulate.

thought the umps were ok too.

Sorry Jock, McClaren should buy a clown suit and do his real job and hey there is a Circus in town at the moment.

His decisions are inconsistent and smacks of a guy trying to correct his mistakes each time he blows his whistle. He is starting to watch the replays of his decisions I have noticed as well. His days at AFL are numbered. The writing is on the wall even if it is graffiti.
