I think I'm heading in that direction myself. Alcohol is ok at times, but last few times I've been drunk haven't been all that great. I've discovered soft drinks again, they taste better anyway

That is where I come from on that score as well. I detest the taste of alcohol. I cant see what is so attractive about it. You shouldnt need alcohol or drugs to enjoy yourself.

Well this is the thing. If you feel down, well from personal experience anyway, drinking alcohol just makes you feel worse. And, as you say, if you're already enjoying yourself, why the need to get drunk?

I'm not saying I won't have a few drinks now and then, but it just all seems kind of futile.

I have never said I dont drink because it is against my religion.

I find the taste of any alcohol a turn off. Have I tried alcohol? Yes. Have I tried every form of alcohol ever produced? No. Just beer and brandy.

I dont drink alcohol at all because I dont like the taste of alcohol in whatever form it is.
