Contenders don't lose these games. No doubt they'll throw everything at us this time round and they're playing with a bit of confidence but we're priming ourselves for September action and if our forwards fire like last week we'll win comfortably.

Big danger game - never underestimate the arrogance of the Lions. They have wrecked or helped wreck our season for so many years I have lost count (not just the 2 grand finals).

I would treasure a massacre, but I would settle for a narrow win.

A massacre is on the cards.

C3 is way to strong for Brennan - they may have to double team and that should leave forward free.

Merrit will be good against Pebbles - but the Rocca man will rise to the occasion.

I can see MM playing Clarke as a run with player on Black and that will negate most of their drive.

Would like to see Cox run with Lappin as well but Lica may get the gig.

If we stop Black and Lappin their drive is gone.

I saw the practise match last year at Carrara and Harry gave JB a real home town flogging - and he may just be the man for it this week as well.

Richards should do very well against their rucks and that should allow Josh to drift forward.

Pies by 45 points and going away.

Dids will have a HUGE game. Forward line will be a powerhouse with Travis and Pebs on fire! Im tipping a big win with Marty Clark being BOG!
Enjoy yourself. Its later than you think!

Strength is not the only issue to overcome when palying on C3 as Mal Michael will attest, it's also his speed and arobic capacity. That's where Brennan will be a good match with C3. Brennan can be a bit hot and cold but if he's on, he can be very dangerous. Remember back to his game on Tarrant at the Gabba.

I think we kind of need a massacre, but we should be wary all the same... the brions are considerably better than their bottom 4 ladder position would suggest, at least at the moment.

As usual, 4 points is the imperative and anything else is a bonus.

Pies by about 15 points is my tip.

Looks solid even without Jimmy.
Tackle tackle tackle. Kick straight.
Get a lead and keep the pressure on.
Go Pies. Win no 11 comin up.

I am very concerned we might be a little top heavy! PRESTI & RICHARDS on the bench!

I know Wakes has been brilliant & but seriiulsy we cannot play Wakes, Presti, Obrien, Maxwell & Goldsack in Same team.

Not to mention we have Richards on the bench too!

Decisions need to be made in the next few weeks & I think they need to make way for Presti (Wakes to go), Clement in (to gogoldsack, obrein or Maxwell),

& Ryce shaw down the track ( to go Lonie!)

No one deserves to be dropped

Unlucky ones will be Wakes & eithier obrien, goldsack or Maxwell.

I think when push comes to shove Goladsack will be the unlucky one. Unless the drop Clarke & keep goldsack in.

I just hope we are not too top heavy & it rains sat night! We got away with it last week, but cant afford a slip now.......

Come on pies be smart!!!!!!!!!
Some call him Dids or Didak, but he will always be a DAKSTAR!

I thought the same when I saw this side first picked last week. But Goldie and Harry can both play small, and Goldie is quick. They can do the job.

Goldy will play as an on baller, i could stand corrected but that is why he is recruited.

N E one else notice Fev was included and doesn't have a tear anymore?? you have to be kidding me... Carlton are a rabble, it was tanking at its best and i reckon Ratten wanted none of it!
