Did you say g'day to Blanket Man ... the dude who sun bakes in the middle of the road only wearing a loin cloth?stui magpie wrote:Dude, you're in Wellington? That's the most messed up city I've ever been to. Walk into an office building at ground level and you're on the 6th floor. Looking for a road on a map, give up and ask directions when the map says I should be standing on it and the person I ask just points up.
Nice restaurents and friendly chicks though

BEWARE Collingwood!
Sheedy is at it again with his "Will I or won't I next year" routine to fire up the troops.
Interesting that we have pictures of sheep in this thread, because Sheedy's mind games are the equivalent of the New Zealand All-Blacks' Haka.
Every time Australia disrespects the Haka, they get thrashed.
Face Sheedy's "Haka" like men, Magpies!
Stare it down, don't show disrespect, show courage, and you will prevail!

Especially against Collingwood.DaVe86 wrote:Yer its always a worry facing the bombers after Sheedy has his coaching term questioned. He is a master of getting his side up for a game.

And the one common demoninator in each game was that they got the jump on us early and we played catch up for the rest of the game.Johnson#26 wrote:RITFB is correct. Sheedy, and the Bombers, have done this to us before (think late 2002, late 2004, 2006).
The first 10 minutes will decide the game. I am confident that we will not allow it and will win by about 3-4 goals in the end.

Love it. Just as i was hoping. I reckon Lone's is going to have a hugeeeee game. 18 touches in the first half of the willy game last week, then was rested up for this game. He will be firing. Let him loose too.
Presti named on the bench is suprising, but our backline looks sured right up now. We have many options to rotate on Lloyd and Lucas. If they get on top of 1, we have cover.
Richards is the choice over Bryan as well.
