Here's my posting from last night that has upset the nameless censors on this BB.

I feel very strongly about censorship, living as I do in a communist country and challenge the moderator who deleted my post to explain his actions.

As I said in the posting......it is an attempt at humour and uses neither sexist, racist or unpleasant language.

Here's what you must do. Get the bus into Frankston.

Walk up Nepean Highway until you hit Liddisdale below Oliver's Hill.

Get to the top of Liddisdale and walk to where the landslide was last week?

With me so far?

When you get to the landslide site, count to three and then jump.


I tried to get HAL put out of his misery and he received overwhelming support, so let's hope eliminating Dave is more successful for me.

Most of my humour falls flat Hal.

A case in point was when I suggested you be put out to pasture. People took that to be serious and we ended up with a poll on whether to keep HAL or retire him!

OMG.......it's called humour and I know I'm not good at it......but sheesh.

If you were offended by my posting then I sincerely apologise.
As for bullying, I loathe and detest bullying. My post was not bullying.

I really was just trying to be light hearted and as you know, I've supported you rights in here before.

End of argument though; if you were offended then I can do no more than apologise.

I'll take up the issue of censorship at another time in here, but I can't help but wonder where you were MR Censor when I was attacked in here not long ago.

I guess the hallmark of censorship is that it is neither rational nor consistent and appears to be totally random.

Dude, you might have thought your post was funny, but it could have been taken as pretty nasty (and Dave clearly didn't see the funny side of it). I really don't have any issue with the mods deleting such posts, and I would have thought their action would have been a hint that it was inappropriate.

You're not the first person to have a post deleted, by the way. It is part of a moderator's job to delete posts as necessary, and well you claim they are irrational and inconsistent, well they're human and you can only expect them to do the best job they can.
