With the game in the balance, and Williamstown kicking with the wind, mid way through the last 1611 AM decide that the local ice hockey is more important.

WTF!

Going by the feed I was getting, I never heard a complete sentence all day due to the commentary constantly dropping out (except for station promo's, of course), so I had no idea that so little time was left.

If they keep ending the broadcast before the final siren to cross to something like Ice Hockey, I can't see them keeping the few VFL listeners they already have.

Well done Brown - maybe a few of the earlier detractors will take some heart from that.

I thought Cooky and Caf had good games too.

Browny had one of his best so far.
Brad Dick played well even though the conditions suited him the least of any out there.
Benny was good in the middle.

Willi had their chances in the last but could get the space inside 50 or find the target.

Geelong is a real boggy team for the Gulls and it may well be we need to put this to bed in the finals this year.

For the Gulls boys I thought Johno was outstanding again, he has taken the leadership role from Lloydy in his stride. Pickers was great off HB, Macka and Stretta worked hard all day, Pat Rose was very good with very clean hands, Hottie kicked 4 good goals and Deano was hard at it.

Plenty to work on and still plenty to look forward to down at Burbank.

Interesting pics die4pies im no photograph expert but something tells me you may have obtained different camera equipment for this match ?

Willy was hugely dissapointing yesterday..did not use the huge wind advantage during the last quarter!!
