The forecast for tomorrow is only for a few showers,so it shouldn't be too wet.Although with Melbourne's weather you never know.

Danny Stanley did not play for Williamstown.

Any mail on who won't play in the named side or could it just be insurance?

Would be wrapped if Mick dropped Holland and brought in Stanners.

I'm guessing Holland might get a job on a midfielder though.

There's no need to worry about the rain. Who says Melbourne are any good in it? We're a solid TEAM with players, such as Burnsy, who'll revel in the wet.

Rhyce Shaw is the player in doubt...reported in the Sun today that he hurt his leg at training yesterday and left the field immediately

Stanley was saved form playing VFL yesterday to have a fresh replacement and now it looks likely that he will be the one to come in for Rhyce

Would love to have licuria in the wet today...he is a good wet weather player as he puts his head over it. Would not be dropping guys like Holland with wet weather experience.

I think having Bryan in over Richards is better for the conditions today. Bryan can just bang crash into the contests and pump it long. Richards wouldve been useless. Good to hear he played well at willy but.

If Rhyce is out, i would like to see Stanley come in. Would be a tough intro for him though. It is going to be pretty willing in the packs today. Melbourne when in touch go in pretty hard...when they are not they can be soft.

Hopefully the wet subdues guys like Green and Neitz and Johnson...but makes guys like Robbo, Mclean, Johnstone and Bruce pretty dangerous.

They have classy players, but lack depth. However sometimes in the wet the team who is cleaner with their handling win. I have no idea who this will suit. The key will just be to put your head over it and play the percentages.

In the wet last time, Thomas was sensational. He was a one touch player and worked hard. However he did get crunched once and tired out quickly as well. Expect a big game from Thomas but.
There's more to life than footy.........just not much more.

I think the rain just may hold off.
IMO if it does rain it wont suit either side.

We have to shut down there class acts. McDonald, Johnstone, Green and Bruce. Davey is another real worry and i struggle to find a suitable match up. Possibly Rhyce Shaw if he plays.

We need to give Melbourne no room to run today. We need to clog up our defensive half and attack from there, giving Davis, Didak and Medhurst the best possible chance under the feat of Rocca and Cloke.
