Dale61....a couple of weeks b4 xmas in another forum and under a different username i asked you about a young bloke named Rippon ie was he related to Laurie Rippon who played for Footscray and Prahran. Any news yet on him.

1948pie, I have just received correspondence from Williamstown's GM, and he said that Clint Rippon is NOT related to Laurie Rippon.

Culprit, Brad Gotch is returning as coach, with Brad Lloyd being named as a co-captain to assist Troy West with the on-ground responsibilities.

Adrian Fletcher is also returning, which will go a long way towards the development of the rookies (look at his work with Mark McGough last year), and with all the new signings, Williamstown will be going all out to become the team that all other VFL clubs once feared.
