Apparently, Williamstown v Geelong was supposed to be a curtain raiser, but that game is now on at Skilled. The VFL Record doesnt indicate any Williamstown games as MCG curtain raisers this year. If anything changes, I'll post it here.

I was disappointed when I got to the Geelong match at the G early hoping to catch some of the Williamstown match. According to the Williamstown fixture they are sceduled for the MCG against Carlton and Essendon, have these two matches also been moved and no longer curtain raisers as was previously mentioned?

For some reason, there wont be any Williamstown curtain raiser at the G this year. I have no idea why, as they were scheduled prior to the season commencing.
Maybe you should contact Football Victoria and ask them, or perhaps the AFL have an answer.
