the difference danzy is that molloy can actually play. danny was shit...always was, always would be and a terible waste of a number 7 pick. sounds harsh? maybe to you, but reality is reality.

Didn't I only really say that I understood how Lisey feels about Molloy being injured?

And Danny could play footy. Sure, hes not as good as some, but he could play. But think about it, how would you feel as a 18/19 year old, playing at this great club and then being injured for almost all the second season of your career? Having surgery to try to fix it? Then the media and so called supporters giving you crap and saying you were a waste of a draft pick.. how would you feel? No wonder he retired.

i take your point danzy. but thats footy...injuries, form slumps, praise and criticism is part of it. decent players manage to, generally, put that aside as best as possible and forge on. i too would have loved to danny make a point and at least play a season or two in the seniors but if youre not up to it, end of story. few would argue collingwood is a better side without molloy in it.
