I have read a report that Molloy got injured, extent unknown, and Dutchie finished the game with an icepack on his left hammie. More info as it comes to hand.

My god!

First it was molloy's Hammie.
Then it was his toe.
I believe there was a ankle hurt as well
now this man, if Molloy said last year was his best year in football I hate to think what he reckons this year in football has been so far.

Is it serious?

Collingwood forward Jarrod Molloy's season is in doubt, after he injured his knee during his third match back for VFL club Williamstown at the weekend.

Molloy, who has missed most of the season with a broken toe, hurt himself during the match against Coburg last Saturday and was yesterday diagnosed with a strained medial ligament. He was also reported for striking Coburg ruckman Pat Steinfort.

Collingwood football manager Neil Balme said the injury was expected to sideline Molloy for only two weeks, but he conceded the forward was running out of time this year.

"It's not ideal and it's certainly not what he would want. It's been a pretty stop-start year for him this season," Balme said. "The good thing is it's only a strain, so there's still a fair bit of time for him to get himself back with a few weeks to play."

After Paul Licuria's Friday night tagging tactics on Richmond captain Wayne Campbell became the source of some weekend debate, Collingwood assistant coach Dean Laidley said they were well within the rules. "I don't think there was a free kick given against Paul, so that's got to say something," Laidley said.
