With all the sniping going on ....Come here to do battle

Post by stui magpie »

Since this thread has been kicked around and turned into a battleground, I've edited the title. I thought of making it Dale61's boxing tent, all challengers welcome but that would be too restrictive.

How bout creating a new area where people who want to play the man instead of the ball can go and kick shit out of each other instead of the main board.

Call it "the squared circle" or the "car park". Antagonists can either metaphorically "put the gloves on and go for it" or "take it outside to the carpark".

I'm not completely innocent in this myself  but I don't recall ever (intentionally) attacking the poster personally. I seems to be getting a lot more common in here and I don't get it.

FFS, we've got one thing in common on this site, the Collingwood footy club. Apart form that, in a lot of cases, individuals who post here have very little in common so I can understand some friction between different personalities but some of the "pecking party" mentality lateley is a bit rough.

(BTW, for those interested in the "pecking party" reference, refer to Ken Kesey's classic "one flew over the cuckoo's nest")

Tell us who you really mean!

I got a PM for allegedly baiting Joel, but I bet you wont get one for baiting those of us who know who you are referring to.

I'm not directing this at any one individual, sorry Dale, so there's no one to name.

How about we just stop all the bull**** sniping and start acting like we all support the same team?

I agree that's what Big Footy is for, I didn't think that's what Nicks was for.

BTW Dale, love the comic comments and pics, I take it you don't think there's an issue then?

Only for those who take Nicks too seriously.

FFS, if people are worried about what's said on a message board, they must lead a pretty charmed life.

Come on Dale, sniping for the sake of it is pretty lame.
