JUST GOT THIS RESPONSE FROM THE AFL REGARDING WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO PLAY RESERVES FINALS:
AFL Reserve Grade Finals Series - Player Eligibility.
No player who has played in one or more Senior Grade Home & Away matches (as defined in the AFL Player Rules) during any year shall be eligible to play in any Finals Series match in that year, save where such player has played in six or more AFL Reserves Grade matches in such year.
No player who has played in 13 or more AFL Senior Grade Home & Away matches during any year shall be eligible to play in any AFL Reserve Grade Final Series match.
No player shall be eligible to participate in any Finals Series match unless such player has played in two or more Home & Away matches save where an AFL listed player has missed through injury, at least ten consecutive Home & Away matches of the AFL football season and his club remains active in the Finals Series.
Where a club has a team engaged in a AFL Finals Series Match on the same weekend as a scheduled Final Series Match a club may include in its team for such Final Series Match any player included on its List provided that such player has player in at least one AFL Senior or Reserve Grade Home & Away Match in that year.

I don't have stats for reserves games, however stats for all player who have played in the seniors are held on the individual player pages which can be accessed from the team list (www.magpies.org.au/nick/team99.htm).
