richards looks bigger
I think for the first time Richards looks bigger. Can anybody find out if he has put on weight. his arms look a far bit bigger. Richards should be our #1 ruck by now and he is a ok ruckman at his best. If he plays two or 3 more games in a row (at any level) and can't get his shit together i will be dissapointed as we have put alot of time into him.
Good luck Guy i hope you smash em this week. Lade is a great player and will be a problem when he goes forward as guy can't hold him in defence.
but he should be able to get first hand to the ball in the ruck. I Hope

I WAS WRONG AND i AM DELIGHTED ABOUT IT:
Toovey, tipped him to be the most dodgy/risky of the debutants and he was fantastic. Disposal was fine (although a miracle of bio-mechanics with that run up). What a great debut.
Tarks, contested possies, hard ball gets, fighting hard when the chips were down, what is going on here? Well done Tarks, best game I have ever seen from you.
Medders: four goals I'd take that every week, not totally convinced (because Tigers looked like they'd done absolutely no homework and paid us absolutely no respect to us) but very encouraging, keep it up and you'll win me over.
I WAS RIGHT AND I'M ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED:
I admit I threw caution to the wind somewhat and it had more to do with where I think Bitchmond and Wallets are at but, I tipped the Pies by 5 goals.
But, No Bux, Dids, Dutchy, Roids, no Clem after warm-up, three debutants in one game, getting smashed to half time.
THIS WAS ONE O THE GREAT VICTORIES,
One to savour and remember, well done Woods.
Dick, Cox, Thomas, Pendles, Heater, Swan, Harry, Maxy very exciting form from the kids. Get on board the future looks bright.

It most certainly was. But I'm sure there will be no apologies forthcoming to Richards, who played a good game.prowdy12 wrote:KYPREO wrote:5 ahemsmelliot wrote:Make that 4 Ahems. Agree Cam. I mentioned it earlier but said it was in the third. It was the 4th. And Richards got the tap. Was nearly right in front of me in and I was in Level 2. Also saw it on the afl.com highlights. Richards clearly got the tap.Cam wrote:Triple Ahem. The one in the last quarter, that was Richards, our whole section groaned and swore at him.Lazza wrote: Double Ahem.......That tap to Karkouer was by Simmonds, NOT Richards.....
Krakouer kicked 3 goals: from memory, one early in the match, one from a second of poor judgment by Rhyce Shaw when he attacked the contest deep in the defensive 50 rather than minding his man (Krakouer); the other from a brilliant Simmonds (not Richards) tap.
I remember swearing my head off at Richards too and then after seeing it on slow-mo replay, bit my tongue. It was only a deft touch and richards almost got it, but it was a deft touch to simmonds. But even if I'm correct, i concede it was still poor defensive work by Richards and the other collingwood players to leave the goal side of the bounce so wide open.
That's how I remember it and I will go back it and watch it again tonight to prove myself either right or wrongWasn't that Pendleberry who made the mistake in defence that Krakouer kicked the goal from not R Shaw. Pendle looked very dissapointed in his effort.

Great win. First the Pauperoos, now the heartless Tigers. I love it!
It might be just me, but Medders really looks like he's enjoying playing for the Pies.

Dark lord
Dark load one of the things i enjoyed the most about the game was the Medhurst Rocca combo they seem to really like each other. The joy on medhurst face was awesome.
I always liked him at freo but now he has steped up a notch or 10 in my books just how excited he looked playing for the pies. I hope he can back it up this week with 2-3 more goals.
Floreat pica.

Minus our Captain and greatest ever player.
Minus our All Australian and Best and Fairest winner.
Minus our next two best and fairest players.
Buckley.
Clement.
Didak.
Johnson.
They aren't just in our 25, they aren't just in our 22, they are amongst the top handful of our starting 18, and we where lining up against a side against wich we have a terrible record in recent times after the hardest road-trip in footy.
hats off to the boys and GO PIES!
