If we play like we did last season at subi, if Cox and Judd dont play, we should win. Medhurst will be the key. Pies by 8!

Don't you just love that stance from the big bloke?

That's a good pic, I hope he kicks 10 this weekend. Well i'd hope he kicks 10 every weekend, but...lol

My fingers are crossed for this weekend. Got a big day by the TV, storm at 5.30, Pies at 7.30....

Can someone confirm.................

Last time we beat WCE at Subi was 1992 when Troy Lehman kicked a point in the last seconds?

If thats the case you'd say we're "DUE"! :)

Rumour is Cox and Judd won't play.

I struggle to see how we are going to win. But if we can produce last weeks 4th quarter for all quarters we can give it a shake. I'm hoping WCE have a flat one. Meaning the off field stuff has effect after they feel they've prooved themselves last week. i.e. things start to fall apart from now.

You would think all that off field stuff will start to affect their on field performance at some stage. Especially the in-fightng (Embly-Chick). Hmmmmmm. Lets hope the wheels fall off this week!

That's correct, Melliot - we did however defeat them in the second week of the then round-robin Ansett Cup of '01 by two points in a nailbiter - Scotland, Fraser and Jonno the stars. And Brent Tuckey. :)

They are certainly down a few players - who knows how fit Embley, Judd and Cox are. Kerr cannot possibly that good again and it would surprise at CHF if BRown backs up again.

I think the other thing is that even at home they struggle to kick more than 15 goals and so the start becomes pretty critical. We need to pressure them hard early and keep it in very close. Lots of stoppages. As the game wears and the pressure builds on them lets open it up with direct play thru the channel.

Rocca will have a hard job on Glass so its likely the goals will have to come from others. Personally, I would gamble with Fraser at HF and let Richards go with Cox. Maxwell has a good leap he could possibly go around the ground with Cox.

Whilst they have a great backline I think we need to play a similar zone to Lions and clog the midfielders. Our backs are good enough to go one out and we will need to back our fwds to go one out. Clog the midfield and stop their free running.

I really liked how the Lion's went into the middle at all costs last night, I hope our boys were watching. You know it just opens up so much more opportunities for our forwards when it comes from the middle. I think we need to clear the forward line out more though, for Rocca to go one on one with Glass, then he will be found out and the big fella might kick a bag. I have always thought we crowded the big guys too much in our forward line. Yep, have the crumbers, but not 300 of them..hehe.

Their middle is where we will struggle. Cox is the key, I am hoping he is a late withdrawl. I'd rather have Judd in than Coxy!

Need to outrun them, tackle like savages, and play a mobile running forward line. Neon, Medders plus one other mobile goal kicker will be needed to run into space and turn defenders. Pebbs will be the main target as a spillage creator (don't expect a big bag on Subiaco), while Trav and Josh should play more as attacking midfielders who collect the ball and deliver it to the running forwards (booting long to CHF is a worthless exercise at Subiaco). If Josh has a big game as a midfielder and can carry the ball forward of the centre enough we have a show. Maxi will probably have to play down back so they can't use match-ups to take Clemo and Heater deep and out of the game.

If the game was in Melbourne I would be extremely confident but even with those Eagles missing, we dont have the players available to win in Perth
