I can't see us playing Richards, Josh, Rocca and Bryan together in too many games, as we'd be too top heavy. I guess Richards will have Bryan breathing down his neck for the ruck spot, given that we look like playing Josh primarily on the forward line.
Great to see Medhurst listed, though I suppose there could a cloud over him actually playing, given the discussion about him hurting his ankle again last week. Overall, it looks a good side, so there's no reason why we shouldn't go into this game expecting a first up win. Go Pies.

looks like they've good horses for courses.loki04 wrote:Hate to disagree but that line up does not fill me with confidence.David wrote:You know what... that is not a bad line-up at all.
Although you do wonder about the depth. Chris Bryan is the only one of the emergencies who has even played an AFL game.
cant complain

So who is going to kick the goals for North?
Their half forward line has two rookies, and Brown has played 90% of his time in the back line and has kicked more than 2 goals only twice - 6 against the Crows in 2004 & 3 goals against the Crows in 2002.
Hale at FF averages half a goal a game. In the pockets you have Grant and Harvey who between them average just over two goals a game.
Yes, on their day they might be able to produce, but neither player is as good as they used to be.
Other than that, they don't have much "fire power".
At the other end we have a full forward line that averages 4 goals a game, a half forward line that averages 2 goals a game.
Add to that goal kicking midfielders such as Leon, Burnsie, Swan and Johnno.
Yes, yes - I know that these averages don't mean that that is what they'll kick, but my expectation is a score line of something like 90 to 70. I just don't see North kicking a big enough score.

If that was true Richards wouldn't be in the side Bryan would as he is more capable in all area's also has had the better form.ad4eva wrote:looks like they've good horses for courses.loki04 wrote:Hate to disagree but that line up does not fill me with confidence.David wrote:You know what... that is not a bad line-up at all.

I love wakes he has been a great servant of the club but he shouyld of retired last season and made way for a youngster to step up while clement and presti are still in prime form.
All know my thoughts on lonie and considering it's a wet day he certainly doesn't match the horses for courses policy either.
