Danger game, the Roos are very fit. We need to win in the ruck. Pies by 7 points.

Won't be surprised to see the Roos come out of the blocks hard. They've been doing a hard preseason and want to start the season off with a bang. I'm tipping they'll be in front at half time but we'll get some system going and peg them back in the second half. Pies by 23.

The crystal ball says, or was that the tea leaves ???
Pies in the end by 7 points.
Roos to have the lead at the end of the 3rd quarter, with Rocca having kicked 7 goals to keep us in the game. Then the young fella's will come into their own and storm home for the win. Fraser to finish with 4 goals, Travis and Thomas with a pair.
Pendleberry BOG.

Didak won't play and if Swanny doesn't start from the first bounce, it is pox. I reckon Ried will play too just so Mick Malthouse has a smokescreen if we lose. Wakelin has to play too due to the experience factor.

It's just so hard to know what to make of things. Changes, injuries, young players, old players, ambiguous pre-season form--anything could happen. I just hope for a dirty ugly win of any sort so we can take things from there.

In saying that they fell away during there NAB cup game against Carlton??
I didnt see it just remember calling ringing up saying how the fell away.

We do start bad in round 1. Richmond used to beat us most years then they would drop down to the bottom.
Hard game to call yet but should win, we were a final 8 side last year and missed top 4 by percentage, we are a good team.
BRING IT ON.

I really don't know, this could really go either way. Heard Laidley on SEN this morning. They really do have a worry about where their goals will come from.

I think that 84 points will see a victory over the roos. They could restict us being early in the season, by round 6 they would struggle to do so. However if we get a run on at any point, particulary in the second or third quarters it could get really ugly.

A first quarter run on would probably see us take the foot of the pedal.
