All the regular Nick's optimists will flame me for saying it as I saw it but geez that was a bloody piss poor effort I reckon... FFS, all this bullshit about how well they have trained, how nicely they breathed in Arizona air and how bloody well muscled and ripped they look and they produce this absolute shit..
I repeat, that was a bloody piss poor effort, really pathetic in fact...

I am optimist because I read nothing into NAB cup what you are is a pessimist, if you're gunna get disgruntled with a side that clearly didn't give 100% a side with barely any experience, up against a side with a full list and who are clearly trying to win this tournement then do not come to any games this season.
The black & white jumper, worn by heroes worshipped by millions.

If they were wearing Williamstown jumpers what would be your prognosis? I wouldn't worry too much. I think Pendles is set for a fantastic year, ditto Cloke, always like what I see of Nicholls [pity he's still a rookie]. Rhyce Shaw i think killed a cat in a previous life and will never make it, Heater however is the man.
Get back on top.

I can talk all day about how crap some of the players were, but one guy's performance made the match all worthwhile for me.
Scott Pendlebury
My God he looks the goods. Beautiful kick, fantastic composure. It's awesome to know that he can also find the pill.
Some of those plays where he glides into a congested pack situation, scoops up the ball and feeds out the ball like he has all the time in the world was beautiful to watch.
He just has that smart football brain and the physical attributes to back it up. I'm sure this game will give him to confidence to demand the pill, and penetrate with his plays instead of worrying about making mistakes.
Watch him become our number one midfielder in a couple of years

I dont need any bloody advice from you buddy as to whether I should attend games or not I'm not going to let you decide that after following Collingwood for longer than you have had hot breakfasts. If you think that was a real top team effort, so be it and good for you to be so easily pleased My expectations are slightly higher than yours obviously and maybe they are totally bloody unrealistic compared to yours... To each their own but I thought except for Pendles, Cloke and Johnno, they were tits on bulls..... Hopeless effort.....bazdaddy wrote:I am optimist because I read nothing into NAB cup what you are is a pessimist, if you're gunna get disgruntled with a side that clearly didn't give 100% a side with barely any experience, up against a side with a full list and who are clearly trying to win this tournement then do not come to any games this season.
