Read the following and tell me who you think Mr Ben Wise will predict as a winner of tonight's game ... dont' cheat just read through and the prediction is at the end.

http://afl.com.au/default.asp?pg=matchd ... eid=289600

Also it is bad enough having the Hun having cheap shots at AFL Players now it is an AFL.com.au reporter doing the same ...

"The Pies will try and match up with the Port midfield with their own batch of hard-running ball-winners including car park brawler Ben Johnson, the highly-talented Dane Swan and Shane O'Bree."

Not good enough !!
Let all your troubles be forgot for we are Collingwood. We'll fight it out until the end we're Collingwood. So help me Jock.

I noticed we were at $5 to win 39.5+ ..... I might place a bit of hard earned on that...

I have mixed feelings about tonights game.

Don't worry about percentage. I just want to win. If we win comfortably then we can start thinking top 4 again. With Kangaroos and Carlton to follow anything can happen.

It must start here!!

So long as we bloody win then I'll be happy. Nothing is ever easy with our lads. Hopefully we can get out of our ' boundary hugging' rubbish and back to down the guts.

Rest assured if Harry O and Maxy are on the back flanks we wont expereince the boundary hugging... they ALWAYS look to the middle as the first option.....

Win first - yes but percentage will determine the eight not much between 3rd & 8th ...

Let's tear Port a new one though !! Go PIES !!

not a bad bet...even $4.10 for the margin to be 20-39.

God we must surely destroy theses fake Magpies tonite. My hardnes decision at the moment is when to crack the first can finished work early today and have a later start tomorrow. Feeling very nervous as really for us the finals start tonite. God I hope we come out firing and are up by 60 plus at halftime so I can relax a little bit during the game.I'm running out of hair to turn grey and I'm only 35 this year!!!!! :D

Dids is still yet to kick 6 in a game. I wonder if his promise to the AD4 team to do the aeroplane celebration after kicking his 6th goal in a game will be honoured? :)

Wow, haven't posted or even looked around in a while...

Anyway, danger game for mine. Port are better than their ladder position indicates, but you have to wonder whether they have the people they want in the spots they want them.

As of this week, Port have zero chance of making finals. No doubt they've been preparing for a lazy September for a few months, but as of this week it's official and they've had a week to let that sink in. I'm sure it stings. And if they can do their part to bring down the mighty Black&White Empire, I'm sure they'd jump at the chance to ameliorate their disappointment.

We are in a precarious position. Perched on the verge of the 8 and yet to officially cement ourselves a spot in the September action, we face a series of proud and bitter teams.

No one's prouder than the Essen and Carl scums... and no one's more bitter than Port.

I see tonight as being a tough, tight contest with few lead changes. I see Rocca - finally - recapturing a bit of form at the business end of the season. I see Bucks sliding forward for large pieces of action. I see a Rusling Revelation in the 3rd quarter. Best of all, I see a lot of excitement building in a lot of Pies supporters tonight and all weekend.

Signs are good, and we are moving.

Oh, and don't ask me for the reasons for my optimism. Ask me tomorrow.

Pies by 845 points.
