The umpiring was appallingly in our favour. I got embarrassed getting some of those cheap goals from free kicks

Win is a win.

Kicking for goal was shocking. Should have smashed em.

Ch 9 siad possible brocken ankle for leon.

Reckon Johno might be making a trip to the tribunral this week for the hit on Croad. Was shown about 20 times!

Hard game to watch and listen to after half time. 1st half enjoyable though. Highlight was C1, great effort again, looks like he belongs to me. Tackling and pressure was good for most of the night. Like the look of Davies, C3 did well in the 1st half, Heath Shaw excellent again and bloody unlucky with the umpires.Overally first half while scratchy was great to watch as a Pies supporter.

2nd half was bloody aweful. Ryan Lonie was the lowlight. Is a major worry for finals and I think needs to be put on notice. Just plain slack, looks uninterested, poor tackler, did nothing. Needs to be dropped straight away IMO as if he can find his run and dash we could be a chance in September.

Cam you are normally correct in your Nostradamus predictions but this one is interesting based on tonights form - I presume you like a lazy win and believe that it indicates the best in the game will bring out the best in us as we run into winning form. I hope you are correct.

I also can't remember so many head high tackles laid by the Pies in one game. Very undisciplined and would be costly in a close one. Johnson went straight at the man and may be cited, although there was no malice and Croad ducked.

Also Ego gives us flare but still can't kick. Needs to concentrate more on disposal.

So many things from this game.

We outclassed the Hawks by a huge degree but couldn't put them away.

Tackling and pressure was first rate, disposal was not.

Despite at least one poster on here stating that Josh was not fit to tie Spida's shoelaces he gave the Hawk ruckman a lesson in the position.

Gary Lyon gave the worst bit of commentating of all time when he pointed out that Rocca had his socks up. WTF?

As bad as the game was:

Nobody here would have rejected a 45 point win offer to us if we were offered that before the game.

I agree Cam the pies will beat Adelaide
Tonights game proved just how shit hawthorn are, the pies slowed down early in the 3rd quarter Hawthorn sensed it and played accordingly but seriously they were never going to beat the pies, Collingwood went through the motions in the second half some games go like that, it wasnt pretty and probably blew a good chance to gain percentage but at the end of the day four points is four points :)

With a decent coach the young talent at Glenferrie would be formidable within 2 years

You were safe, 14m 3rdQ.

When Bent Choad got a case of the brain wobbles from a Johno nudge, it was good night Dawks.

Joffa Corfe 2
Joffa Kennutt 0

Time to retire that lavertory jacket Jack Boot Jeff....some things never change, looks like you've got your jack-boot firmly stuck in ya chops again.
