teams are now choking our half back line and forcing us to play contested football.

we are the sort of team that the 2002 Collingwood side would grind suffocate and dismantle.

this isnt a a finals football team.

my biggest worry is not whether we win the flag this year its whether our kids will be any good in year 200x.

anyway I knew we were going to get belted today when I sat down next to J.Rowe at the movies last night.

Played well/ok: Bux, Burns, Presti, Thomas.

Played ordinary/crap: everyone else.

NO goals from our Rocca, Tarrant, Didak is terrible, regardless of supply (which wasn't terrible by any stretch of the imagination).

The confidence seems to have gone. Better find it next week or we are cactus.

Pendlebury was better than Thomas yesterday and Heath Shaw was far from crap.

Face it we are just not good enough, our accountability was disgraceful yesterday I have never seen so many loose st kilda players, it was like a moorabin blue light disco. I think we should we should be sent a map of the centre of the ground as a lot of our players don't know where it is.

I thought Heater tried his heart out & Thomas .

Next week will be telling - if we lose to the Shockers then our season is gone , esp as it's at the MCG .

People, people, people!?!?!?!?!?!... I know things are looking very gloomy after another super humiliating defeat!! However, we know how easily things can turn around. We are still in a good position on the ladder & capable of getting back on to the winners list in time for September action.

Stick with it!.... the boys [coaching staff & selectors] will have to fire again soon!!

An email I sent to a mate when discussing the game this morning and asked if Collingwood would win next week.......

Collingwood don't have a hope in hell of winning next week if they continue to play like they have for the last month bar the Sydney game.

I expect them to win next week but it won't be easy and they have to improve significantly. They couldn't hit a target all day yesterday. Every delivery to the forwards was a lollypop hospital pass that was easily spoiled. They didn't tackle, they didn't run, they didn't man up the forwards didn't present, MM didn't make any significant changes until it was too late. When they did manage to get the ball in a good position they turned it over more often than not by making a stupid decision or skill error. The midfield couldn't win a hard ball or a clearance if their life depended on it. The game plan was predictable too, went to the medallion club wing every time and left free St Kilda players in the middle corrodor for when we turned the ball over creating an easy counter attack for St Kilda.

Anyway, lets look to next week:)

We will definately get back on the winners list becuase we play half the bottom 8 again , but that is not what has got everyone up in arms its how we have been losing not that we have been losing. This team better bloody grow a pair of balls quick smart if they want to have any influence on September there is no point being there just to make up the numbers.

As I stated in another post....the uys have been known to loose 3 or 4 on the run mid year and then come back withg evengance....dont give them up yet, just because the 'D;' are in third position,I still feel that WCE wont do much better and will fall to 4th or 5th and that the PIES will stay where they are and will contest the 2006 finals.........

I think MM was outcoached, along with all our skill errors and the forwards and mids having a bad day/week/month. Buckley should be up forward, and Tarrant on a wing or dropped to Willy until he can string a few decent games together. We played well without him against BrisVegas, what makes ppl think we'd struggle without him? I'm sick of MM's attitude that players like licuria and Tarrant can do no wrong and won't drop them no matter what. They shouldn't get star treatment. Not having a go at Licca's game, particularly, but just that he is a favourite of the esteemed coach who has said he won't drop certain players, no matter what.
Congrats Bucks, on a great return! Bring on the Crows!

You should be having a go at Licca's game, he was poor again. It seems as though he's just not the player he was 2-3 years ago, his kicking skills have gone back to what the were at the begining of his career and he dosen't seem to be running out games like he used to.

Form slump is not a worry. We lost a few games so what. But the point isnt that we are in a slump, it is the fact we are getting belted.

West Coast are in a form slump. They have played terrible footy over the last few weeks. However they are still winning. They lost 2 but were not humiliated. They twice came back from a margin in excess of 40 points. That is a good team. When they are down, they are still competitive. If this is the West Coast Eagles form slump then watch out because they are still winning games of footy.

We on the other hand are losing by whopping great margins. We are non-competitive. I dont mind a few hard fought losses whilst we are experiencing some bad luck. But we are currently not even turning up to the park. That is the worry here.
There's more to life than footy.........just not much more.
