Eunos even in this form we'll probably still scrape into the finals....

But will it be worth watching?

I think not.

We could still miss out and after today I wouldn't be surprised really, I am hoping we can turn it around against Freo.

Remember 2002? Playing terrible at end of season, completely written off, hopeless last round v Bulldogs.

Greatest win possibly of all time v PA in qualifying final.

Made GF.

Got respect of football world in an unlucky loss to Steroid abusers.

Times change very quickly in footy. As they will for the Pies soon enough.

Couldnt find a stand out player today besides Buckley & Presti, whilst morrison and johnson had ok games.

The entire team struggled, it was one of those days, special mention to these players who had shockers:

Rusling: 1st game back (phew) so excused..
Davies: Ummmm, yeah..
Tarrant & Rocca: Obviously
Pendlebury: Still inexperienced, but had to mention
Swan: hope his injury doesnt ruin his form.

I tend to agree with Eunos. If we are going to scrape into the finals and play this sort of footy against the better sides, then id rather not make it and avoid the pain. Time to get serious. Either we want to be there or not.

Morrison was Ok? you must have been watching a differentt game to me, to use a MM saying I thought Morrison played better last week. He was just brilliant when he let his direct opponent Voss take an uncontested mark in the goal square and was also wonderful when he kicked the ball straight to St Kilda players when there wasnt a Collingwood player within 10 yards on numerous occasions, yeah he had a real pissa!

Something really needs to be done, in a hurry, if we really want to be contenders in the finals this year.

Hit a slump and playing poor footy. Better playing poor footy and loosing than good footy and loosing! At least we know that our best is as good as it needs to be.

Positive side is we're still top 4 thanks to the Doggies dropping one to the Kangas.

Lets hope we turn it around big time this week. Cos we would have been beaten by the blues or Bomber today! It was another shocker.

Need to get some form before the WCE too.

If we make the 8 only to play West Coast, Adelaide or Sydney interstate then I don't see the point. Even if we fluke one we couldn't back it up.

September is a bit late to go to New Zealand but the Northern Territory is great at that time of year. I've got the leave from work. Time to plan a roadtrip.
