Sat next to this old bloke who, at about five minutes before three quarter time, leaned over toward me and said " I have been watching the cats for years, and I have never ever left a game early, but tonight I am, good game" Got to tell you guys that was like icing on an already eaten cake.

I was so surprise with the results, no one throught that it would be a thrashing, everyone throught it would a close game. We had smashed them everywhere. Can i just say why were the Geelong cheersquad cheering in the 3rd or 4th qtr Geelong, Geelong, whats the point of saying that u guys lost. Oh and also Did see when the football hit the old man on the head on the boundary line, that was fine.
Overall great win!

Awesome, magnificent...the Power of the Pies!
Still speachless - can't wipe the grin off my face. The world can do what it likes right now (just about). We have won in such a clinical fashion.
Not too many players who did not have claims to getting into the best.
Neon Leon Magic Davis - what a little legend. That goal on the boundary in the second was rated by Chrisso as one of the best he's seen.
More to come later.

Post-Match on Triple M, Dermott gave Ling 3 votes for Worst on Ground. He said that out of his 32 touches, only 8 were effective.couragous cloke wrote:I was surprised to see Ling had 32 touches. Would like to see how effective they were.

For sure but that label wont stick unless we keep playing good consistent footy and take our chances... like last night... Geelong were asleep in the first quarter, we pounced and they just never had a chance after that...favourites 2006 wrote:Two Words ---> Premiership Chance
and when we do get a sniff (like last night again) we have to burry the team... make the rest of the comp know we are hear and to play late in September...
Great win Go Pies
