The margin is a little suprising, but not much, I have been saying for weeks we should smash Geelong, what was suprising the amount of people who were worried about tonight and thought we might lose, we are a 10 goal better side than Geelong on paper

Magnificent! And watched it with family from the best seat in the house - one row behind the Geelong cheer squad! What a bunch of old crones. Don't know what was more entertaining, the Magpies football or the Cat's supporters squabbling amongst themselves and eating their own.

One of the most pleasing things to come out of the last 2 weeks has been the emergence of Josh as the best ruckman in the league. He single-handedly gave King and Ottens an absolute bath tonight. The flag is ours for the taking this year. Forget all that crap about building a side for 2007 or 2008, this is the year we have to grab it while we can. Go pies.

And the Saints, god, truthfully I cant see any reason we shouldnt thrash any other Vic side with our forward and backlines and have always felt that, midfields are overrated unless you have the forwards, I would rather have the forwards and backs than Midfielders with no one to kick too, sure rucking cost us a flag or 2, but really no team in the league today as all areas covered like the Lions did

The margin would have more if the scumps had not pulled those BS frees from their arse early in the last quarter.

Had a laugh when all the cats supporters walked out of the my general area (M50), then had another smile when I looked over towards the Cats cheersquad and almost all of them had left.

However, the best part of the night was the fact I was sitting seven rows back from where Christi (mmmmmmm) was doing her thing.

murderation... a beautiful smashing.

Everyone played their part.

Cam is definately the right option at backup ruck and i struggle to see anyone who can be dropped from this side for Ryce Shaw. If anyone says Carracella they know zero about football. ZERO.

Heath Shaw would have to be rising star favourite right now.. never thought in my wildest dreams he would ever be this good.

Im just guna enjoy this one for a while... My brother backed the pies over 60 points for a return of $150 on a ten dollar bet.

oh by the way...sack malthouse, trade tarrant, Obree and lonie
got yourself a gun...

Just home. Tremendous match. Loved every minute of it bar the early part of the last when the maggots did their best to give Geelong a couple of consolation goals. It didn't help, but!

The best moment had to be the 14 minute mark of the 3rd when Joffa brought out the gold jacket and top hat, the "Game Over" sign went up and Joffa waved a handbag around. Sheer class!

I have to admit to being one of those who was wary of Geelong, especially after we had a gruelling match at Subiaco the week before, but even though half the side was bloody knackered by 3/4 time, they still gave it their all. Even in the last quarter, buggered or not, we outscored the pussies 4.4 to 3.2.

The guys deservedly got a standing ovation when they walked off as a group at the end of the match, clapping the supporters back. That's one happy bunch of campers.

There are just no weaks spots in the lineup. Much as I'd love to see Rhyce Shaw and/or Pendles get a game, no-one deserves to lose their spot after that performance.

Top Four finish for sure. Let's set our sights higher and aim for Top Two and home finals. We're good enough. This is a better side than 2003.
