I have never had a 'hard on' for 120 consecutive minutes.......until tonight.

What an awesome game, the best I have seen from the black and white for as long as I can remember. Sure we have had closer more hard fought wins but this was a display of complete supremacy. They never had momentum.....we obliterated them.

Best players for me were Licca, Clement, Lockyer, Swan and Davis. Very noteable mentions to Fraser, H.Shaw, Pebbles and Didak. Bucks also good along with Wakes and Presti. Shit.......they were all good. The two quieter ones were probably Maxwell and CC

Couple of blokes I have had a crack at I thought were very good - Licca and Cara. Licca bc he has been terrible early and has found it hard to get in games early....tonight he dominated from the start. Cara bc I think his decision making and intensity has been poor. Tonight he was good.

Geelong were crap - gosh they look slow and were really struggling to break the momentum. They just had nothing.

No,i never dreamt that we would be so high up the ladder after 8 rounds.But what a fantastic game tonight!That was just about the best performance by the boys that i can remember.Everyone contributed tonight and there wasn't a single weak link in the team.If the umpires hadn't tried to even up the scores in the last quarter and we'd kicked a bit straighter i reckon we would have won by 150 points,or 140 maybe!I wonder will the so called experts and opposition supporters still claim that we aren't any good?Probably.But who cares what they think anyway

Bloody awesome effort, still amazed at the margin of a game I was very nervous about. Geelong ARE a good team but WE made them look ordinary. Watching it on TV though, it was a great performance by the pies I thought, given that they had travelled and played on the hard surface at Subi last week and were supposed to have had tired legs after that contest. They beat Geelong to the ball most of the game.
Davis, Heater, Swanny and Lica were sensational as were most of the Collingwood players tonight.
I'm quietly enjoying the 102 point thrashing and also winning a $20 bet with mad Cat fan at work...
