There was a decent uncontracted player come up in the draft and we didn't get him.... does Nathan Lonie ring any bells?

Finally, Mudlark, someone said what i thought. I watched the game with my dad and he thought the umps were letting a fair few things go, but i thought we got a few dud decisions, like when Taz was being held and was trying to gesture to the ump that his jumper was held and got no free; and when Josh grabbed the ball out of the ruck in the last quarter and was pinged for throwing. I've seen more obvious throws in my time and we had the momentum, so it just felt like the umps wanted to give the weagles a goal. Or maybe I'm biased!
On Josh, he had a fantastic game and was BOG in my opinion. I got really angry at Walls because he said Josh was going really well but he "won't beat Cox" - when Josh clearly had the better of the WCE ruckman at that point in the game! (can't remember if it was second or third quarter, didn't tape the game this week). Just because Cox is one of the best rucks in the game over the last 18 months doesn't mean he can't get beaten once in a while. Would it kill Walls to admit Josh was better in this instance?
Hope Rocca isn't injured, our side plays better with him in it. But it irritates me that Taz decides to have an off night when Anthony's been quiet! Just about every game so far, if Anthony's up and firing and kicking 6-8 goals, Taz isn't far behind him. If Anthony's having a slow night, as against Essendon and Carlton, Taz disappears as well!
In the big important games like last night we need our forwards firing.
As for Judd, I just have to add this cos it cracked me up... i was saying to my dad when Judd got the ball (i think it was in the third quarter, not sure) "I hope he f^&ks this up monumentally because at least Walls and Lyon and all those guys who think he's God will realise he's only human".
And he missed, and one of the commentators said "He is only human".
Dad turned to me and said, "he heard you!"
Congrats Bucks, on a great return! Bring on the Crows!

We lost, have to win this week. Most teams that travel to Perth lose the following week.

Playing Caramellow was wrong due to his lack of pace and fitness. We kept coming back so that was good. In the end the Eagles have the four points.

Judd is a gun and we need someone to quell his influence.

Great effort and we lost it in the first 5minutes.. other than that the team is up cooking on gas, could have snatched it, but judd was too good.

We played okay, but nowhere near out best. Good effort in the end, but we could have won it had we played a little better.

Tarrant was dissapointing some of the time with his efforts, I was getting a little frustrated. However, it doesn't help when people just hang off him. He deserves a free every now and then.

West Coast has to rely on Lynch to beat us. He won't kick five goals next time they play us.

What? We already have one. We don't need both. Lonie was hardly getting a game in a side that went very badly last year.

There'll be 2 or 3 changes to our side surely this week. I reckon Jason, Cara, Maxwell and Harry will all come under the microscope for relegation. I don't know how the boys went down at Willi today, but hopefully Rhyce will return along with Bucks and maybe Travis or Cameron. Who knows, Pendlebery might even be a chance.

Agree, I expect fresh legs too, but by the same token they'll be careful not to destabilise a good thing on the basis of losing to a top team at Subiaco.

Shaky start but good to see that we didn't throw it in or let them really run away with it in the end. I would've liked to be at the ground to see exactly how C1 was used - although i think overall that probably wasn't the best team selection.

The crowd was sensational!!!!!... we kicked a goal at one stage & i had to stop & wait cause i thought the cheering was too loud for a goal - must be a point?????... but no, it was the fellow faithful in WA 8)

Can't wait to get them in the finals

Yep, a maximum of 3 changes. Bucks (obviously), Pendlebury (BOG for Willi yesterday) and hopefully Travis.

What about Richards???
Don't get me wrong, i'm not on his bandwagon [yet!!!!], but perhaps he's relieving duties may be required against the King/Ottens duo?!?!?!?!?!

You're right. I suspect that one of Cam, Travis or Richards will come in as the extra big man.
