It is an ominous sign that we are destroying teams in two sometimes one quarter of good football. It has happened in all of our wins. Against hawthorn, it was rocca's 3rd quarter blitz, against the roos, a second half slaughter, against the dons, a stellar final 40 minutes. We have the firepower to blow away a side like Port in basically 8 minutes of football - it's really exciting stuff.
Where the boys need to go from here is to focus on stringing together four quarters of consistently good football if we are to beat the top sides. We can't rely on conjuring momentum all the time because sometimes it won't just happen. I guess Adelaide was a prime example. We were building that momentum and they choked it up leaving us nowhere.
If we put together four good quarters against the Blues, it could be very scary indeed.
