Okay, how are we going to go? On form we should wipe them off the G, especially if all our big guns fire up forward.
I'd like to see the Pies win by 109 points!
GO PIES!

I guess it really depends on what the team will be for the weekend... Do we assume that Brodes is back in? What about the Clokes... different teams require different players to be played against them.... I think that MM (as he has done all season) will pick the right bunch of guys to be running out onto the G this weekend... With our Forward and Backlines so strong and the Blues not having played against some of our young guys like Thomas (I don't doubt they've been watching him though) And the unpredictability of Bucks, Trav Cloke and Ryan Lonie... I think we have enough up our sleve to keep them all guessing... We are able to shuffle nearly half the team into different positions... And come out Kicking...
I think it'll be around the 80 point mark that we win by

If we are to be any sort of threat this year we will dispose of this useless outfit quite easily.
Dont be too surprised if one or two of our big guns dont play this week. MM has done plenty of talking around the importance of keeping players fresh etc...
If we're the real deal, we'll win by 8 goals +

i think we have a great chance of winning this by a big margin - even when our main forwards are quiet, like against Essenscum, we have guys like Lonie, Didak, Travis Cloke and Brodie Holland who can and do kick goals. We'll be right. Presti will shut down Fevola, and who is their backline?! They don't have much of one, do they? Eddie Betts and Jared Waite might be the ones we have to watch out for. Also that Justin guy, can't remember his last name, that spanked us in '04.
Congrats Bucks, on a great return! Bring on the Crows!

My stomach always starts to regurgitate
When on the bluebaggers I begin to cogitate
I cannot abide their silverspooning
And their arrogant endless crooning
About their number of ill-gotten flags
But now ... their riches are but rags
It's time for all Pies to sink in the boot
To that putrescent navy blue basket of fruit
While Fevola and crew strike their teapot pose
And struggle to straighten their fishnet hose
The Mighty Pies will simply hammer them flat
And for 1970 plus much more, say "Take That!"
Thank you Big John for drying their till
Watching carlton get hammered now is such a thrill
And next time you're having a Fosters and a smoke
Remember, at Collingwood, we think you're a great bloke!!

There is nothing I hate more in this world than the wretched Carlton Football club.
That said I think the pies will do it this week, but Malthouse was dead on when he said the pies still aren't firing like they should. They are innaccurate in the forward line and making mistakes in the midfield still. Remeber the last four weeks we have not had seriously good opposition. The three weeks after will provide a better indicator of where we are at.
On Sunday at the ground I was thinking "When was the last time we really belted a side - in the 10 goals plus region?" I don't know if the pies have the kind of intensity to be able to really pile it on for the two quarters it takes to build those kind of scores. Still though Carlton are looking absolutely shithouse.
I think the pies by ~30 points. I hope it's a lot larger.

Disagree, wins a win.If we are to be any sort of threat this year we will dispose of this useless outfit quite easily.
Perhaps i should cast your mind back to Optus Oval 2001. Brisbane Lions, the king of the jungle were smashed by 80 odd points.
They proceeded to then win 3 flags straight.
I will be happy with a win, of any form. Carlton have some weapons, which our coaching staff and players will be very aware of, and on their day, can play pretty good football.
If Kouta, Whitnall, Fevola, Lappin, Waite, and Stevens are on their game, we'll have a top game on our hands on sunday.
Pies by 37 points, running away in the second half.
