Whats the problem here?

WetToast...undefeated last year until they played Collingwood's seconds. :D

Geelong...the handbags are out already.

Footscray...The dogs were fixed by the Cows and will be playing with collars for a few weeks so they stop licking themselves. The seasons great pretenders.

GO PIES!!!

If there is one pie hurting its rhyce shaw, his injury couldnt have come at a worse time, i think he will struggle to break into our fully fit lineup.. poor bloke has had a tough time.. but heath looks a better player..

As predicted by Hotrod!

As good as our forwards were ( and they were very good ) I think the best part of our game was the run out of the backline. Heath Shaw was BOG in the first half in my opinion, Harry keeps developing, Jimmy all class as usual. Presti solid as usual, Johnno just great.

Dutchy has to come back in for Davies (who did alright) and Travis needs to improve further I feel to keep his place in this side.

I was unable to go to the game, but from all accounts it was Harry's best game yet. With Presti in such good form and Harry getting better each week, it's going to be very hard to see Jason or Wakes squeeze back in to the side soon, unless one of Presti, Harry or Jimmy gets injured. Rhyce will also have to put some BOGs at Willi to force his way back, but it speaks volumes for our new found depth that we're in such a situation of having to leave out blokes who would be walk up starts at most other clubs. There's also C2, Carracella and soon there'll be Rusling competing for spots. Oh, and there's also some kid called Pendleberry who's supposed to be alright as well. My planned holidays in September have just been cancelled. Go Pies!

Harry still scares the bajesus out of me every time he gets the ball, but luckily he has a big frame which gets him out of trouble - has more potential to improve than most on the list and love his run and raw excitement. After the game he was high fiving the supporters along the race and actually jumped up about 3 foot to tap a young supporters hand - you don't often see that! Seems like a bloody good bloke with great values, clearly making a difference to morale as is Daisy.

Thought Davies is in a similar position to players like Rowe - kicking consistency is his biggest obstacle. He is quick thought and seems nervous when kicking at goal. Maybe once he gets his first AFL goal he can be a goal kicking midfielder.

Clearly a lot of work to do in the midfield with communication between ruckmen and midfielders. Both Frase and Richards often winning taps straight to opposition, or they are very predictable and the opposition can easily shark the ball. But they are both improving and working quite hard, I have always been critical of Richards as he seems to get lost but rucking against experienced players must be bloody hard for a player of less than 50-60 games.

If Dane, Johnson and Heath can stay consistent we will be hard to beat - especially Dane, there is no stopping that kid over the past 12 months.

Bucks running down Burgoyne was the highlight of the year for mine, unbelievable.

Many umpiring decisions seemed frustrating at first, but virtually every one upon replay was OK. Actually Port were a bit stiff early on, gee what a shame.

Wow, this just keeps getting better.

4 weeks in a row of 100+ pts! 16 goals 2 behinds at one stage of Q3. How different to last year!

The speed at which we're moving the ball from back to front is awesome. We are playing this new kick-in rule superbly. We're also playing really well for each other. Whenever there's a mistake, someone is there to mop up or collect the pill. So many times today we looked to have 10 extra players.

Swanny was just about my BOG. He's a great link man. Great to see Taz & Pebs kicking so accurately. Bucks, well what do you expect. Most of the mids did their job well. I love the sight of Leon with the pill coming away from a clearance. You just know that it will be used to the max. More please!

The defence were sensational as already mentioned. Jimmy and Heath would have to be close to votes. And Harry, even if he makes a bad decision, he's such a great athlete that he can recover and get out of trouble.

Lovin' it!

Also, wanted to say that Lonie is back to his best. Great to see. A bloke that can kick that good and long is worth hanging on to, and full marks to MM for sticking with him after two avergae years.

When the running and forward weaponry cut loose at the same time we are bloody hard to stop.

Bucks must be giving opposition coaches nightmares again with his versatility.

Special mention to Josh for his best game around the ground this year, Swanny for his positioning and reading of the play, and Heater for backing up his good game last week.

Well done to Chris Tarrant today. 4 goals, but what was good was the kicks were a lot better off the boot. Very straight without his usual bend to the shot. Hopefully he can keep it up.

What about that flying leap and spoil by Daisy?

There's a lot to like with this team/list.

Keep it going.

Good game, great 3rd quarter. It brought back memories of the 2003 Preliminary Final!

Hard to find too many weak links in the lineup. Travis isn't turning it on consistently at CHF but, when he's hot, he burns the opposition off; he's better suited to running around, upfield and downfield. I can't see what others see in Richards; Fraser is by far our best ruckman and I'm thinking we should maybe give Cam Cloke a run because he's got that extra mongrel in him that Richards will never possess. Presti isn't quick enough for my liking and gets caught out when the FF makes a quick lead but, fortunately, Port were dawdling getting the ball downfield to Tredrea and Presti had plenty of time to push him too far out to be dangerous.

The defence is damn solid. Great games from Swannie (who also spent quality time in the middle) and Heater, who is consolidating a spot in the 18. Jimmy was back to his best after a few weeks of middling form, Presti is solid, as is Maxy. Harry gives me heart failure every time he tries to run with the ball but the boy just doesn't give up. Some wimpy stuff from Tarks still and he needs to put his body on the line but he can kick a nice ball.

Terrific games in the middle from Johnno and Lonie. Licca was back playing at his best, and lovely games from Burnsie and Bucks. We look a much faster side when Neon is in the middle and Dids had a couple of nice runs on the ball but is vastly more dangerous up forward. Ordinary sort of game from Davies, but he did some lovely things which helped offset some blunders. Can't complain about Cheesey lately, either (shit, what's the world coming to?!).

The forwards were great. Great games from Pebbles and Taz. Jeez, it's good to see that MM takes notice of what we've said about plonking Pebbles in the goal square! C3 can go missing a lot but when he decides to play, he's brilliant. More consistency needed there.

Terrific game from Fraser in the ruck and around the ground. Another 5 kilos on this boyo and he'll make mincemeat of any other ruckman.

The thing we now need to do is to make sure we beat Carlton next Sunday - no looking ahead to Subiaco the week after or we'll get done. Forget their ladder position. Once Fevola and Waite get back into form, they will have targets up forward and will be tough to beat. They always get up against us anyway. Let's take it one week at a time, people (but enjoy and celebrate each win as we go!).

What a great game.

Fancy the arrogance of Choco's wankers to confront our Cheer Squad like that. Got what they deserve in the end.
