Thanks for the Preview Dave, should be a great battle in the midfield. Would love to see Carra in there as they are not the most physical side going around. should be a high scoring game by us if we can win enough ball.

Confident we should handle Port. While we only have a five day break, they have only 5 1/2 (plus travel), so really should make no difference.

Will enjoy watching the destruction of Port with my 5yo son from the front row of the "green seats" on the wing at TD!! Go Pies!!

Should be an interesting contest - Port have that bit of "unknown" about them at times with the Burgoynes (love to see Pebbles run straight through both of them) and Chad Cornes.

Reckon Chad Cornes may need to play defensive on some of our tall forwards which I think could be a plus for us.

Have only seen Heath Shaw twice on the TV but am very impressed. Like the look of O'Brien - get a bit anxious when he has got it but certainly looks like he could develop nicely. (Only get games on free to air in QLD - sick of the Lions). We used to say that about Ben Johnson - how good is his form?

Hope the club does a good job of managing Dale Thomas to keep expectations reasonable - he can play and seems to be down to earth.

Ruck worries me - but hopefully with the "Grogan" out we can contain Lade's influence.

Carracella should be in as well as J.Cloke need some stronger bodies and some fresh legs after the short break let davies wait another round and give O'brian a rest although he does look composed and reads it well until he gets position then is a bit unsure.I think all is good but midfield run needs to be maintained and essendon was a big game that would have taken some spring out of the step, even dids looked propy in the legs at the end of the game.

I was at the North/ Sturt game last week talked about in that article. Deluca rucked for Sturt and was beaten all night. Sturt lost the game by 92 points  . Go the Roosters and the Woods.

Years ago when I was at college in Adelaide I barracked for Port in the SANFL simply because they were a mirror image of my true team - Collingwood.
In SA Port was the supremely achieving footy team with absolute contempt for all opposition and had the results on the board to support their claims of SA supremacy.
As the AFL expanded I was surprised that Port did not bid successfully to become SA's first team and when they did make it through to the big league it was clear that comparisons and conflicts with Collingwood would ensue.
Being the new kids on the block (where the Pies had been operating since 1895) Port were never going to get access to the Pies' brands of name and guernsey.
That said, whenever Port plays Collingwood, I have a feeling that suggests a meeting of older and younger brothers tussling in the back paddock - no quarter shown and loads of pride on the line.
I see Williams as MM's younger brother always jumping up and down at MM's feet saying "Tell me Mick, am I doing O/K now?".
As for tomorrow's game, Williams just won't have a clue about his "older brother's" game plan and be destined to accept another little brother's back paddock thrashing.

Chill buddy, no need to attack the poster if you don't agree with his/her opinion.

Besides what's wrong with wharfies? :D

Sav, Sav, Sav ... I truly admire your undoubted Collingwood allegiance. Whether you choose to acknowledge mine is entirely your choice.
Might I suggest in future before you blow on the hot coals of your narrow perceptions when endeavouring to understand the purpose behind another BB member's writings, that you plug in the intelligence module. You'll find everything then is crystal clear.
