was confident going into the kangas game, knew we would win

not so much against the dons, hope we win

players better not get ahead of themselves and especially with lloyd out think we are already over the line

must be drummed into them that win this and it can set our entire season up, lose and we are back with the also rans

I'm worried Lucas will star. He usually does against us and had a shocker last week - he would want to redeem himself. I would be devastated with a loss. I really hope we can stop Hird.

Yer Lucas is a huge worry...but i havent seen him play without lloyd much. Now the emphasis will be on him which may mean he has to stay at home more. We can double team him quite easily. Hird is my worry

Sure we have to think about our matchups, but I'd like to think that the coaches are going to try to make the play since Essendon relies on their midfield and halfback line to get things mooving unlike the Adelaide game were we tried without success we could break them open this time like we did the Hawks and Roos. As much as I like C1 having that smaller player really adds drive to our midfield and has been one of the telling factors in getting the ball to the fowards. Ego was out of form for whatever reason and having Daisy Neon and Did's toghethor for longer really carved the opposition up.
I say make the bombers feel the power of our new attack!!!
Bring in Sir Scott for good measure. Always miss his contribution!
Got this feeling Trav is going to have a good one!

Lucas leds very well and can kick from 50 m + so we need someone to play in front of him.

Too many people with too many worries!!!!
Think about it, us talking about tagging and negating!!! Humbug!!!! Essendon have more to fear than us. Bet most of them are saying....Who's gunna stop Tarrant, and who have we got to stop Rocca. Do we do a stopping job on Bucks etc etc. They havent got the cattle to plug all the gaps we are going to expose! We need to play attacking footy. Our backlines sound, our forward line is dynamite, our mids and rucks are performing. Talk of Lones on Hird, pffft. Lones is playing his best footy atm, leave him be. Someone will do the job on Terd. We should outgun them in most departments. Anything can happen on the day...sure, but I dont just want a win. I have great belief in this team, you can tell they are starting to gel and have great self belief in themselves and in their team mates. A crushing victory is what I desire and believe it is quite achieveable. We believe in you boys and know you have the will and desire to really turn it on. BIG TIME, in front of a monster crowd. Daisy your stage is set. Bags he takes a screamer!!!!!!
Enjoy yourself. Its later than you think!

Happy with a one point win, happier with a 4 goal win and estactic with a 10 goal thrashing!!

Games against Essendumb are getting the filth - must wins .

Why - cos we owe them big time & although a 1 point win would be good ,
a 100 point thrashing would be the stuff dreams are made of .

Well my dreams anyway , I want us to get 6 goals up at 1/4 time & then just keep getting further in front .

I want the sort of game where they have absolutely no hope at any stage

I want their supporters to be seen leaving the ground before 1/2 time , with their arrogant tails between their legs .

I WANT REVENGE !

I agree with Skaman let us not get too defensive our attack is what worries them, let them try and match us in the past the we have probably played too defensive against the bummers and paid for it! It is time to rub sand in the sooky bubs face.
