I think he (the coaching staff) should be aiming to play senior footy by round 13 (against the tiges).

The tiges are shit so he shouldn't be under to much pressure and by then his body should be right.

They are nursing him back. He didn't join in training last thursday after half a game the weekend before for Willy. There is now way known he'll play this week. How could he be fit yet after not training for a few weeks in Feb and March?

2 Williamstown games so far and he has dominated in patches. Plays middle, back and forward and great on either side by hand and foot. The most important thing of all is Scott gets his own footy.

he's the only bloke on our list who im yet to see kick a footy....but it certainly seems like every man and his dog who has seen him play rates him something chronic.

im happy to go with it.

im in same boat, havent seen him on field yet, but hearing rave reviews left right and centre. He has the physique to be an ideal modern day champion.

what position would we most likely see this young man cement in the future?? wing? centre midfield? half forward? half back??

David Schwartz and Liam Pickering while calling the Willi games on SEN have been really pumping him up.

I think he even got a mention non Whiteline Fever on Monday by Schwartz.

He must be good. Can't wait for him to debut. Would be great if it was on Tuesday.

I watched him play and train all last year for Gippsland Power, very strong and great disposal mainly off half back, he could play anywhere on the ground, I rated him as 2 nd behind Xavier Ellis as the best players we had last year with Thomas 3rd Jay Neagle 4th but hey what do I know! Its just great to see the Gippslanders making an impact. With Ess injuries especially to Lloyd I think Sheedy will throw young Neagle into the deep end this week as he played full forward for Power last year. It would be great to see Thomas Pendlebury and Neagle all play Anzac day from a Gippslanders point of view.

yeh i was watching the OX when he gave his 5 cents bout pendles, but i take no real comfort in a drunk like him giving out player references.

i want some clear cut evidence that this kids gunna be a champ!! and unfortuantely that wont happen till he gets a go in the seniors. hopefully mid season?

Most likely off the half back lank or on the wing.

It has been terrific to see him bounce back from Glandular Fever so rapidly, especially for a player of his build (still needs to put on a few more kilos). A classy player off the left boot, and comes across as the sort of player who appears to have more time than any other when he gathers the ball.

Pace, class, skills and evasive ability - it is what we need.

I'm hoping he'll get a run in the seniors in the near future, perhaps in a week or two - but finding an opening will prove difficult.

Mick said that Pendles is the best kick he's seen at Junior level.

Thats saying something in my book.

Would love to see him play, if for no other reason than to test the hype.

Ive heard a lot of things about this kid, esspecially his kicking... But is it as good as Buckley's in his younger days? If so, then ill be mightly excited.

Kid just looks classy, has a heck of a lot going for him but don't rush him. Coming back from a fitness debilitating bout of glandular fever and still needs time to fully recover form that. Still needs to develop his body strength and base fitness and get comfortable with the pace of the game and senior football. Don't worry, I think he is going to be an absolute gun but I don't want him rushed before he is ready.

Needs to get games into him at Willy, build his fitness base and continue learning his craft. A couple of games towards the end of the year should keep us all happy. Havig said that he will be hard to resist against Essendon given his game on the weekend against Werribee.
