That's a good point, I guess at the moment we can afford to carry a player such as Licca who is struggling to find form. Just look at Richards, perseverance (sp?) with an out of form player can pay off.
At the same time, given a loss of team form we may not have the luxury of carrying a player who is not pulling their weight.

He has a sore ankle so rest it and get it right. Someone like Ben Davies deserves a go from reports he is going very well with Willi. Burns well and truly deserves a go over licca if he is fit enough.
Liccca is currently a liability but will stay in the team because of MM. So in a few years we will have a completely inexperienced midfield because we persisted with a injured Licca instead of bloody young kids like davies, yakka while one of our senior and less skilled player plays injured or out of form. FFS licca could not even make the distance from 20metres out yesterday.

Hey UEy, DUy or LUy...whatever your name is Boof Head. Read my post..that is READ..not assume what you expect from the Richards nockers...& I have been one of them. The bloke has been at the club for a few years now, which you can basically cut in half with his injuries and required recovery time etc.. The Collingwood Dynysty must think highly enough of the bloke to have perservered with him. His rucking skills or the way they panned out on the weekend were FIRST class. Nothing of which we have seen at the club since Len Thompson..yes Len Thompson!! The club obviously believes that we have something special in this dept... He is a completley different style player than Cameron Cloke ( none of this Cammy crap). The reality is however that he is yet to prove himself; its as simple as that. If he can perform the way he did yesterday he will definitely CONTINUE to hold his place. He is the better option than C Cloke, as we have enough Cloke sizes & Bodies in the forward line. If Richards however fails, and there are no guarantees either way..it is at least a better option to include the Cameron Clokes who can kick an occassional goal & is better around the ground until we DO find the ruckman that we are looking for.....
Incidently...I will only go out with Cammy if he wears his pink number again....
Chow Chow....

It looks pretty obvious to me Lica has a sore or weak left ankle or hammy. Can anyone confirm its his kicking leg? His set shot attempt from the pocket at the Lockett end barely went 30 metres. Hopefully the injury will heal soon and he'll be back to his best. Maybe with Burnsy back in Lica can be rested a little more during games.
