I don't agree that Richards performed 'very well' in the centre square at all - Everitt beat him hands-down and gave Hodge and Mitchell first use far more often than not. However, I believe he will improve with more game time given how little footy he's played for a year or two. We definitely need him to be fully up and running over the next few weeks.MK wrote:Richards actually performed very well with his center square work on Monday and he kept his feet...Cam will be in the following week if Richards stuffs up on Monday...good to see pressure for postions.
I would be happy to see C2 play IF he played a good one for Willy. Did anyone see C2's game?

I would also like to see the teams before making my winning margin prediction
Its always exciting when we play the Roos - Hopefully Rocca picks up where he left off last week AND last year against this very side,... minus the injury of course - touch wood, salt over the shoulder,.. whatever it takes!
My mind always casts me back 2002 or was it 03 when we absolutely belted them by 70 or 80 odd points at Colonial - Gee it'd be nice if we could get back to that goal scoring power we were capable of!!
Dave - MM named EVERYONE apart from Rusling & Rhyce

I hope he will too. On 3AW they were bagging him about only getting 3 possessions till half time, but they neglected to mention his gametime was only 20 minutes up to that point, and he did some pretty good work around the packs and off the ball in the latter stages of the first.rosspies wrote:Im hoping Leon gets more game time this week. He absolutely starred against the roos in the practice match at Princess Park earlier this year.
McRae for Governor-General!

Yer he has had hamstring worries, wouldnt suprise me if he is out. Although i do not think it is hugeeeeeee news....it will significantly hurt their defensive ability to man up on rocca and trav cloke. I struggle to find a good match up for Tarrant in their team but with Hay, they will atleast find an option than will beat Tarrant in the air. Leigh Brown will most likely take Tarrant, which will free up Rocca now heaps.
There's more to life than footy.........just not much more.
