They won't drop Licuria.......

The only change IMO may be Burns in for Harry...depending what was wrong with Burnsy's 'Illness'.
Archer started in the middle in the first encounter with North last year and kicked and/or was part of the first 3 goals from memory-if Burn's is fit -he's in.

Richards actually performed very well with his center square work on Monday and he kept his feet...(.barring the Didak over kick when he was in the Center Half Forward region.) Cam will be in the following week if Richards stuffs up on Monday...good to see pressure for postions.

They'll retain Heath Shaw.. his kicking was A-1 and he got up pronto after being bumped to the shithouse....a good sign...and typical of a Shaw.

For mine, Heath will be dropped, not because of his effort, which was above and beyond the call of duty, but because he will be buggered and in need of a rest. I am still not convinced that Wakes isn't carrying a niggle and if that is the case Jase should be given another shot, so for me, it's Heath and Harry out, Burns and JAse or Wakes in.

We should win if we play well.

Heath should stay ... he's performed better at the top grade than Jason

wakes had a pretty good year last year - why does there seem to be a consensus that he is on the way out this early in the season? i know he's getting on and we didn't need him against the hawks, but i think he still has a lot more to offer the pies, maybe even another year after this one.

One thing is that, we must win on Monday, and i have feeling we can win. Does anyone know if Leigh Brown is out for the Roos, because he injuired himself against Geelong.
We win it can really set us up for the rest of the season.

Agree and the more wins we get by Anzac day the better go into that full of confidence and have a real finals atmosphere again.

Wakes in for Harry - Harry needs to learn a bit more. Looks promising though, despite getting done.

Burns in for ......... not sure. Unfortunately Shaw I think. Pressure in on all midfielders / midsized players. Wow did I just say that! First time for 2 years. Other option is Leon to come out, But we'll lose 1 or 2 goals. But Burns has to come in, too good of a player to leave out. No way couldyou leave Lica out!

Cam in for Richards. Don't think this will happen though. MM wants to educate Richards (not a bad thing). I was dissapointed with Rich in Rd1. Was better in Rd 2 with ruck work but still not great around Ground. Cam would give us something there. cam is also good in the packs throwing his weight around which helps the team even though a stat isn't registered. Rich doesn't do that IMO. Rich better at Taps though, but is that enough?

Hold Wells and Grant and we'll win. If they get too much ball, we're running uphill.

Also like to give Trav Cloke a rap. Has gone a little unnoticed due to Roc and Taz. Is his 2nd year and kicked a goal each game, taken the first mark of the game each round and just been dangerous. 1st quaters have been great. The up side is he'll get a lot better too! Wait till he's 25-28. Rekon he'll be one of the best goin around!

We have an reasonable run compared to other teams early on.

If we cant beat these mediocre teams we are no hope.

I can only hope that the wheel is starting to turn because we looked like a troubled team in the first half of last week.

It was frustrating to watch us dominate and almost get rolled.

I really do shudder to think what would have happend if Clarkson did not play mr teacher on the weekend.

Sav vs Presti/Wakes
Thommo vs Wakes
Corey Jones vs Clemo/H.Shaw
Petire (forward) vs Maxy/Clement/J.Cloke/O'Brien
Brown vs Clement/Wakes

Pebbs vs Hay
Taz vs Watt
T.Cloke vs Archer
Fraser vs Brown

Should be a cracking contest.

Licca will not be dropped unless he picked up an injury - 19 possessions as a running forward for most of the game, with 6 possessions in the third quarter when the game was there to be won. He's just warming up.

The only players who were soundly beaten were Richards and O'Brien. Davis was down on stats, while Dids is struggling with his new role up the field a bit more (HFF to wing), but I think these two will be kept in the side and could explode any time.

Lockyer played a great defensive second half off the bench and is unlikely to be dropped.
